Becoming vegetarian?

For the past few days, somehow my taste buds have been repelling meat, in particular pork. Just cant stand the sight and smell of pork (havent encountered char siew la)

Still ok with fish. Eating lots of vege and fruits.

Like today, I had curry mee for lunch. Told the guy no cockles, prawns, pig skin and chicken. He gave me the look (so-what-are-you-putting-in-your-curry-mee-then-look)

Hmm...what's happening? Body giving me signals to become a vegetarian?

Holidays = FOOD = More exercise!

It is currently the holiday season. There is only a gap of 6 days between Christmas and New Year. Everyone is busy arranging time to meet up for catching up and of course, in accordance to the Malaysian culture, FOOD!

There was abundance of food and this also means ensuring exercise time. Made a trip to a local park, where there is a canopy walk. My last trip to the canopy walk was 5 years ago. Still remembered that I was panting the last time. This time round, it was a breeze (Thanks to FitLine!). Haha.

Me at the canopy walk. Not imposing at all, compared to the many team building activities I attended before.

Like this picture. Ray of light piercing through the foliage
Yesterday, passed this car enroute to the hill for my exercise. I have NEVER seen so many tissue boxes in a car. And mind you, all of the tissue boxes have tissue in them. Perhaps the family members of the car have a bad case of sinus?

Tissue car?

Till then, Happy New Year 2010! Great and abundant year ahead.

Traditional Business vs MLM

An acquaintance called me today and we caught up a bit. Turned out that P was switching industry as P is struggling to make ends meet in the current industry.

The moment P told me this, I felt sorry for P. I was there before - in a traditional business. Pumped in RMxxx, xxx of capital and in the end, less than 2 years, all went belly up.

The pain and hurt is still there and thus, I chose the new business model, ie MLM, ie FitLine. Minimal capital but huge market and business potential. Not only that, no overhead but most importantly, good time management.

Thus to P, I wish them all the best and may their new business venture soar.

Fit for Life

My first run was way back in 2000. Out of curiosity, my friends and I went for the Penang International Bridge Marathon. Of course, went for the half marathon which was 21.4km. Come to think of it, we were nuts. No training whatsoever. All of us completed the run albeit aching legs the next day!

Fast forward to 2009, I have been going for a few competitive walks and thank goodness for FitLine, I managed to get rankings for every one of them.

Thus, I decided that I should give runs a try after so many years. And this time, not so ambitious and only went for the 7km run.

It was a good run. Enjoyed the scenery. Met a few people. And most importantly, I concluded that I enjoy walks better than runs. And also, wouldnt have been able to walk/run if I had stayed at 77kg! Being lighter is so much easier...

Both the starting point and finishing point, waiting to go

Time freedom

I was at the shopping mall a few days ago for an appointment. Holy crowd! Where did the crowd come from??? Christmas, New Year, school holiday, all combined into one!

It was just so congested. The cashier had a long line, and people were grabbing things as though they were FREE!

At first, I thought of grabbing afternoon tea, but when I saw the crowd, I was just so out of there. I cant stand crowd, cant stand brushing shoulders or bare skin with another person.

Thus, I choose to go to malls during off peak periods.

And FitLine gives me the time freedom :)

People walking by freshly baked bread. All the dust settling on the bread? No thanks

Sustainability = Innovation

Recently I attended a FitLine business partner's daughter's wedding. I dont fancy wedding dinners as the food is rich and God knows why shark's fin soup is served. I dont take shark's fin soup as it's cruelty to animals and it has no nutritional value.

However, I still attend wedding dinners for the relationship factor. As a token of appreciation from the host, many will give chocolate/fruit cake to the guests.

But for this dinner, we were given chopsticks (as photographed) which I think it's quite unique. When I saw the chopsticks, the first thing that came to my mind is, people are getting more innovative and creative. And in business sense, innovation is the buzzword to sustainability. If business fails to change, to keep pace with the market's changes, the business will fade out.

This is why, it's important that businesses have a strong R&D team to ensure rapid innovation. And this is also what FitLine has. We have been winning Top 100 most innovative awards in Germany for the past 7 years.

That's the spirit :)

End of the World?

When the cinemas were showing previews of 2012, I didnt have the slightest intention to watch it. I have avoided 'negative' movies for a long time - horror, end of the world kind of shows.

But after the hype and after I think the whole world has watched it, I didnt want to be left behind. So I went to watch.

Ok. It does makes me think. That the Earth will one day come to an end. However, I think what is most important is we should live with hope. And live with vocation that we are here to fulfill our purpose. When I mentioned this to my friend who watched the movie with me, L mentioned that I was 'ultra positive'.

It's sad that some people live lives like a robot - day in and out, doing the same thing, and hope to grow old with grey hair and eventually meet their maker. Life is truly beautiful. The people we come across with, the many colours of nature, the experiences, we go through...

And I will always share with people, when doing sales, when doing FitLine (to me, FitLine is sales, although not hard core sales) we meet all kinds of people. Some people will leave footprints in our hearts, some people you are just glad that you dont have to see them again, and some people...you are just glad that you know another friend.

Sky juice???

Went to mamak (Malaysian local eatery, which serves a mixture of Indian and Malay food) yesterday with my FitLine business partner for a chat.

Both of us had no intention to eat, just wanted to drink.

I ordered plain water. The waiter looked at me, as though have never seen someone who ordered plain water. What's wrong anyway?

Teh limau/Teh o kosong - dont know what tea leaves they use, and sometimes they add sugar in there.

And I'm not a fan of coffee or tea or soft drink.

So that leaves me plain water!

Someone commented before. I must be a very thrifty person, since I only drink plain water!

Little people crossing the street

At the place where I parked my car this morning, I saw little people (between 2-5 years old) aka kids went for field trip to Domino's Pizza.

I presume that they have just finished their field trip and thus, on the way back to the bus. The teachers were franctically getting the kids to hold hands to cross the street. The teachers also halted the traffic so that kids could safely get across.

All nearby were just smiling, watching the 'parade'. I too was enjoying it and forgot to snap a picture of the scene. They were just so cute - in a sea of red uniforms.

After the parade, the traffic resumed. I even caught one driver smiling away. He must have enjoyed the parade too!

This is what I like about FitLine. Moving around, seeing different things from time to time. Dont think I would be able to enjoy such sights should I still be in the corporate world.

Free lunch?

Of late, I realised that the few FitLine prospects that I meet at cafes/fast food outlets refuse to purchase something to drink. Talking about free seat/office???

I will normally arrive at least 5 minutes before the scheduled appointment time so that I am calm and rested and not huffing and puffing from the traffic.

I will then proceed to call for water and enjoy watching the world go by (sometimes will read if prospect is late).

Thus, of late, when prospects arrive, instead of getting something to drink (of which I will ask whether they want something to drink) they will continue talking until their mouth is dry. Here, I will offer my bottle of mineral water and they will gladly drink!

Hmmm...action speaks louder than words?

Online social networking

I was at a coffeeshop a few days ago, trying to access wifi.

Somehow my netbook cant access my broadband at home and I'm no IT expert.

There I was, minding my own business and as usual, I like to look around to see what is everyone else doing.

I managed to catch a glimpse of someone else's screen. All were chat windows. This guy must have just finished work, dinner and decided to hang around at the coffeeshop, chatting online.

Personally, I am not a fan of hours of online chatting. Prefer to meet up with the person over a cuppa. Somehow, online chatting is not the same.

Will online chatting replace face to face chatting in future? I dont know. But I do believe that online marketing is the next phase of marketing. That's why this blog was started to share my FitLine journey. Of course, this blog will not replace face to face meet up.

Moved On

I was looking forward to last weekend because I made plans to meet up with friends whom I hadnt seen for quite sometime and at the same time, had a few FitLine business appointments.

I always announce in pride that I will make time for friends (although sometimes, it's really hard as time is so limited)

I was particuarly looking forward to yum cha session with this friend, C when a few hours before, I received a message from C that appointment is cancelled. I was a little disappointed but quickly turned my disappointment into 'now-how-can-i-make-that-time-productive'.

At the upteenth hour, I managed to make appointment with a FitLine business partner whom I have been trying to get hold for a few weeks. Talk about blessing in disguise!

In the past, when someone FFKs (stood me up - chinese equivalent) I would be upset and take things personally. Now, I just let go and move on. Too much negative energy to carry around with me.

Like what I shared with my friend, HC, thinking positive is a habit :)

Taking things in stride

After dinner last night, I sauntered to my car, ready to make my way back home and have an early night.

To my surprise, I couldnt start my car. Thus, did the necessary - called AAM, withdrew $ from ATM, took my book to the nearest cafe for a read. AAM was due to arrive in an hour.

I was also very surprised at myself for being so calm. Last time, if it happened, I would be %&^# and thinking that it's a sign that something bad is going to happen.

Here, I was very thankful, that my car died when I wasnt in a hurry to anywhere. In fact, I enjoyed my book while waiting for AAM to arrive!

And, I had a little chat with the AAM mechanic about FitLine (since the black car is such an easy ice breaker!) And when folks hear that the black car is part of the marketing plan, they are amazed.

Now, must remember the next date to change my car battery...:)

also, thank God, my car didnt break down in the middle of nowhere :)

Your Supplement is SO Expensive!

A few days ago, I spoke to a prospect who is very health conscious. Do all the right thing - eat organic vegetables, take supplements, gym, etc.

But when N heard about the price of FitLine, N mentioned too pricy, and wanted to opt for another brand which to me, is really substandard.

The human mind is so strange. Can be spending RM2,000 on a bag but RM477 for better health is expensive.

Anyway, I justified the price of FitLine and later left it to her to decide. To me, health is really wealth.

Only The Present

I was away with a few friends to a neighbouring country for a short break.

From this holiday, I realised that, my ideal trip is 70% outdoors ie nature, 30% tourists stuffs. I dont quite enjoy tourists stuffs. I feel so at home with nature.

While overseas, every now and then, I thought about FitLine. How can I add value to my clients? How can I help my group to grow further? Yes, I know that I should be present wherever I am and whatever I was doing.

Of course, through this trip, I got to know my friends better. I got to know myself better. That I really enjoy travelling, especially doing nature related activities. And I enjoy meeting people from all walks of lives, from all over the world. In this country in partcular, we met many French tourists, and also got to know a very friendly couple from Israel.

At the end of the trip, we concluded that since all of us enjoy nature, we should endeavour to keep ourselves healthy and fit to go for more trips together. How? By taking lots of fruits and vegetables, and to supplement with FitLine.

Enjoy the pics. :)

The sampan ride going through the caves. Very picturesque indeed

Cycling along the country side. All wrapped up cos temperature was around 15degrees celcius

Nature, the natural destressor

I have been extremely busy for the past few weeks, that every night without fail, I just 'plonked' on my bed, and headed directly to zzz land. Didnt manage to even read a few pages of the book next to my bed, like what I usually do.

Why so extremely busy? I am just so excited about the upcoming trip to Germany in April 2010 and I really want to get everyone to go. It's so easy to qualify. Just be an IMM for one month, get RM13k paycheck and trip to Germany is FREE!

Thus, when I get the opportunity to go back to nature for my exercise, I really enjoy myself. Just enjoy the serenity, the insect creaking and greeny. And I feel the oneness with nature.

That's also my dream. To have a jungle reserve as my house backyard and facing the beach/sea. Wow.

I love being an MLMer!

I enjoy doing what I do to build my wealth.

I enjoy sharing about FitLine, over a cup of coffee/tea (although I drink neither. I am a plain water person :) ) or over meals.

Nothing formal initially. Casual sharing on why I do FitLine and how it has helped me, health wise and for building for wealth. Comfortably seated in the neighbourhood cafe.

I shudder the thought of having a traditional brick and mortar business. Sitting in a shop/office and waiting for clients/customers to come. I enjoy moving around, exploring new places, new food and meeting people from different industries.

That's why when people share with me that they hate moving around, I would think that it equates to enjoying the comfort zone. It's only when you move around, meet different people, then you realise there is a bigger world out there.

Wow. I love my life!

What a Weekend!

I had such a blast last weekend. It was fun, motivating and emotional seeing business partners sharing their success stories. Indeed, success is sweet.

We had our PM Malaysia Congress at a local 5 star hotel, and had teams from all over the world who joined us.

What was exciting about the event was, the founder of PMI, Mr Rolf Sorg announced incentive trips which was HIGHLY achievable. (Hint...hint...Trip to Germany and Vietnam for FREE)

We were all so excited about getting our team to go to the Motherland of FitLine.

Not only that, events like this are times when we have fellowship with our business partners from all over the world.

Wow. A truly seamless international business. Only from PM International AG and FitLine products. So, what are you waiting for???

Walking the Talk

A few days ago, I was duped into having lunch. Why duped? Made appointment with someone, and I have already eaten, and was pulled into another lunch!

Anyway, the host was a TCM practitioner who operates a wellness centre. I was actually shocked by the food ordered. Everything was FRIED, all MEAT and not a single dish of VEGETABLE.

I guess is, when the practitioner meets the client/patient, the advice is
- just eat what you want, then come to the centre to fix the problem???

Sheeshhh...it just confirms and encourages the mentality of 'fix-it' society. That there is a solution and cure for whatever problems. So whatever we do, dont have to think of the consequences. Just do first, enjoy first and think of the problems later...

Dream Stealers = Stay away!

I was at a business gathering a few nights ago. I some how shared that I am attending classes to learn a new language (to explain partly why I had been so busy)

Instead of being encouraged to keep up with the classes, those around me, started laughing. And said, why go through the trouble and worst of all, one person said, can learn from him. Just go out for dinner and start learning from him.

Hmmpph. Take about dream stealers. Stay away! They disgress you from your goals in MLM or whatever your goals are.

Becoming a bigger person

Over the weekend, I took an online personality test - DISC as a workshop requirement.

The results were divided into 2 parts - natural behaviour and adaptive behaviour. A simple test was so revealing. My natural behaviour and adaptive behaviour are at the opposite ends of one another!

This means that over time, I have changed, ie become a bigger person, and acquired the necessary behaviours to achieve my goals.

And this also made me think. That it is possible to change to achieve what you want in life. Cos for the past few weeks, I have encountered people who told me that MLM is not for them as they dont like selling/meeting people.

Conclusion: When the WHAT is big enough, the why and how will follow.

Good income in MLM

Recently someone shared with me that the person knows of another person who earns good money. The person has been involved in a MLM company for a few years and earning a very good 5 figure, almost 6 figure income monthly.

I honestly feel happy each time I meet a MLMer, be it from FitLine or another company. Why? To show that MLM is a credible industry, and more professionals are joining and making good income.

There a few bad apples in the industry and these are the ones who paint MLM as another ponzi scheme or pyramid scheme or quick rich scheme or whatever scheme you want to name it.

Like it or not, word of mouth marketing is the MOST powerful and effective form of marketing. Thus, MLM is here to stay. More so when more people have chosen to work from home.

Out of the Rat Race

Recently played cash flow at a designer’s office. Totally love his office. The concept, the openness, EVERYTHING!

I call this place 'the cash cow venue' since this office generates multi million dollars businesses every other day.

I was just soaking up the ambience and playing cash flow at the same time. WOW.

Being self employed

I went down town the other day to meet a prospect. I have never liked going downtown during peak hours, since the traffic will be horrendous. Since at times, no choice but to go during peak hours, I will take the public transport.

Thus, that explains why I rarely take the public transport during peak hours. It’s so humid here, and by the time I reached my destination, my attire will be drenched in sweat.

After my appointment ended, I boarded the train to get home. Here, I had a realization. That I am so thankful that I made a decision to work on my own. The office workers in trains/public transport are always so gloomy. No one smiles. Can feel that the energy level is so low. Perhaps in their mind is – thank God the day is over? I can now go back and enjoy my telly?

The gloomy faces in the LRT

I am a true Malaysian

This year’s Deepavali celebration was different from the previous years.

I was invited to 2 open houses – a friend’s and my neighbour's. This is what I like about living in Malaysia. All races coming together to enjoy good food, company and just enjoying the moment.

And coming from a foodie, I have always looked forward to the open houses, especially those hosted by friends, because you know that the food is home cooked.

And this is also a good time to casually mention about FitLine. Nothing threatening, since it’s part of the ice breaker – What do you do?

Yummy home cooked food

Food for thought. Ice cream to eat or not to eat?

Was at McDonalds a few days ago. Made appointment to see prospect there.

When I'm there, I will normally get a bottle of mineral water to make Activize for both the prospect and myself to drink. Heck, I even realised that the price of mineral water went up from RM2.20 early this year to RM2.80 now. What's the reason? For better bottom line?

Anyway, I saw someone eating Chocolate sundae earlier. At the counter, thoughts were coming in. Hmmm...yummy. Time was 5.25pm. Close to dinner time. Then I thought maybe I should taking Ice Cream cone, not so heavy.

Hmmm...then I thought with all the cream, the fresh milk, and the money could be used for my FFA account?

At last, FFA account won! YES! So proud of myself. And proceeded with dinner at 645pm.

Anger Management = Supplements required?

After my appointment yesterday, while walking to my car, I heard loud honking. I looked up trying to trace the source of it.

Goodness, it was a tow truck across the street, about 500m away honking. It was honking, and honking and honking. Someone or something must be blocking its way!

So, I looked. (wont look if I'm driving. dont want to be part of the kay poh (Malaysian slang for busy body) statistics who jam up the streets)

Turned out that a car was blocking its way. The tow truck driver, came down, and proceeded to SCOLD the driver of the car blocking its way. And mind you, I can hear his SCOLDING from across its street.

I was worried that his anger will get the better of him and leave him bashing the lady driver.

Dont know what happened next as I have reached my car.

Perhaps he lacks minerals? Minerals, have a calming effect on the body. That is why minerals are meant to be taken at night, and NOT early in the morning!

Plan B = working from home

A few months ago, I met up with a friend who was very frustrated with work. C was considering throwing in the towel.

Why frustrated with work? Unsupportive working environment, baby in the family, and sheer boredom.

After a little brainstorming, I urged C to do her part time business and start from home.

Fastforward that, a few days ago, I text C to ask her the progress of business plan.

C replied "Not good"

I informed C that C has to be around supportive people and truly work on the business plan if C is serious about the career change.

I did suggest to C to consider doing FitLine business. But C mentioned that C cant imagine oneself to meet people on a daily basis to share about FitLine. Well, maybe time will change that.

Hoping to hear good news from C.

Call of Nature?

I was waiting at a cafe for someone to pass me something.

I have learnt from past experience to bring a book whenever I am waiting for someone for appointment.

This time, I waited for an hour for the person to come (Napoleon Hill really kept me company)

While waiting, something very interesting happened. A kingfisher bird flew in and landed on a picture frame, near the wall I was sitting.

I have always believed that nature has a way of conveying message. And I believed that the bird was trying to tell me something (it could have landed anywhere in the cafe, right?)

The person I was waiting for arrived. We exchanged namecards. And perhaps more FitLine business coming from him?

Accelerated Learning

I had been extremely busy for the past few days, which explains the lack of updating my blog.

So many things happened but whatever happens shall keep a positive outlook.

I had lunch with an ex colleague from I hadnt seen for many years. She is still in accounting while I have moved away from it for many years.

Since I'm a huge believer of self development, in particular trainers who use accelerated learning, I urged her to join me in my events.

To my surprise, she still belongs to the old school of - sit back, listen and absorb as much as you can and you will go along fine.

In FitLine, and everything else, I learn best when I do and I keep on improving and learning, making mistakes along the way.

As you may guess, my friend declined my invitation to events - to much work just to self develop :(

Financial freedom with CashFlow(R)

For the past few months, I have been playing Cashflow 101 and most recently Cashflow 202 (both games were invented by Robert Kiyosaki). The objective of the game is to get out of the rat race and achieve your dreams, be it to buy land or to do charity or whatever.

And interestingly enough, games are really a reflection of your behaviour in real life. If during the game you have difficulty keeping track of numbers, in real life is the same.

If during the game, you dont pay attention (ie dont know what is happening) in real life is the same. Go through life blur blur or MC2 (mung cha cha)

And interestingly enough, my personal experience with Cashflow 101 opened my eyes on the possibilities of opportunities around me. Previously, I just wasnt aware of them, or should I say, I chose not to see?

And now, it's FitLine and more cashflow opportunities :)

The Cashflow box and board

Prevention is better than cure

Met a friend, F who was having drink with another friend, C.

Half way through the conversation, C shared that C has rather bad stomach ulcers due to many years of taking daily neat orange juice in a glass.

Thus, I began sharing on how FitLine helps with gastric and stomach ulcers.

To my surprise, C mentioned that C has no discipline on taking supplements. Would rather take charcoal tablets for the discomfort.

Hmmm...

Some people never learn eh? That prevention is better than cure.

Mysteries of the Mind - Unsolved

I attended a half day seminar this morning(for self development and to share about FitLine the supplement). It was pretty good information, albeit one of the speakers didnt have good presentation skill.

Before the seminar started, there was a slide that stated 'Please silence your handphone'.

Obviously a few folks either choose not to see or were ignorant of the slide. Thus, mid way, a few handphones rang.

I honestly dont know why Malaysians still havent got used to the habit of silencing their phone before a meeting/seminar/movie. I will do it automatically since I dont want the risk of embarrassment.

Thus, I started to ask myself - why are people like that? Mind you, today's seminar participants are of at least middle to higher class net worth. These folks are educated and knowledgeable. Perhaps education DOESNT mean cultured?

Like what one of my mentor, Jim Rohn, mentions, these falls under the 'mysteries of the mind' ie cant be explained and no point pondering further on it.

Who needs supplements?

I met N, who enjoys eating and cooking.

When N asks me what I do, I naturally passed N my namecard and showed FitLine Activize, one of our products.

Immediately N said that most supplements are not necessary and a huge marketing gimmick.

One can get all the necessary nutrients from a balanced diet of fruits and vegetables.

Excellent, I thought to myself. Someone who doesnt believe in supplements and yet look so haggard. (I was thinking to myself - hello - why organic produce then? cos of the pesticides and chemicals!)

Looks like more people out there needs more education on supplements.

What an amazing weekend thanks to FitLine!

Last weekend was one of the most amazing weekends I ever had. Was in town.

What was so amazing about it?

The people who I met (in the course of wanting to share about the FitLine MLM business):
- a mutlimillionaire who retired at the age of 40+
- a local lass who is a strong advocator of organ donation and very much into self development
- a high networth lady who willingly shared about her spiritual path (and I got to sit in her Porsche!)

All the 3 individuals willingly shared about their knowledge and life and honestly I feel that I have information overload. I am still trying to sort out the information in my mind.

I have always believed that everything is about timing. That the universe will provide you the path when you are ready.

I am ready.

Transformation thanks to FitLine supplements!

Was at the shopping mall the other day, accompanying mom to buy shoes.

Then, I saw my ex-colleague, whom I havent seen for more than 10 years.

I walked up to her, called her name. And she looked at me.

"You look familiar" she said.

So I started to drop hints on how we were working together and, at one time, hanging out together.

"Err...you were fatter last time. Now you look GREAT" she added.

This was me, in 2001. Not many people can recognize me now.

Thanks to FitLine, my health, appearance and physique has improved tremendously.

Fitline Fitness Drink is GREAT!

I had been looking around for competitive walks for quite sometime now (my last walk was Big Walk in 2006, I think. yes, it was THAT long ago). Apparently most health enthusiasts prefer running to walking.

Thus, when I heard that there was a competitive walk for fund raising today, I immediately signed up for it.

I have always enjoyed brisk walking and since it's a competitive walk, I will double enjoy it. I was confident that I will get ranking.

I was aiming for Top 3 ranking and I did get what I targetted for! Along the way, I kept on sipping FitLine Fitness Drink. The drink is so particularly refreshing, especially when you are working out.

Holding up my certificate of completion

Receiving my medal and meal voucher

So what did I get for finishing 3rd? A medal and a buffet meal voucher at a hotel.
I am proud of myself that I have gone from being a 'non-work out and severely overweight person' to a 'fit and healthy and winning competitive walks'. What a comeback! Thank you, FitLine!

Long weekend = Contemplation

This Raya holidays must be one of the longest for this year. To me, the weekend started from Friday (although officially Saturday. Friday cos school holiday started on Friday) until Tuesday. And holidays are family time (ie off work time, ie no appointments for FitLine)

So I took the opportunity to catch up on reading, meeting up with friends (both old and new) and planning for the year end and next year.

Although it has been raining cats and dogs for the past few days, it didnt dampen my spirit to go out and meet people. (yes, that's the warrior attitude - Do Whatever It Takes!) And it was very sweet of K, to pass me a CD which contains uplifting success songs (songs specially composed for success)

Another thing worth mentioning is my plants. I am not a gardener nor do I hate plants. I enjoy nature, but I dont enjoy tending to them. Thus, my 3 pots of plants outside my condo have been growing at the least rate as possible (according to my neighbour, and my mom, I dont water them. I do. I just water them, when I remember)

To my greatest surprise, this particular pot, which has not been growing for the past 2 years, suddenly sprouted new shoots the past few days.

The aloe vera which is growing very well

Notice the sprout growing (next to the wall) - Yes, this is the plant which just didnt grow!

My 3 pots of plants

My neighbour said "Cindy, wealth is coming your way!"

And I replied "Auntie, wealth is coming your way too. There is spill over effect since we are neighbours and you help me to water my plants from time to time too." Auntie just smiled.

And the aloe vera is growing well too.

I believe that nature has a way of telling things - the good and bad. And good things are definitely coming. FitLine is currently simmering, waiting for the boiling point. I cant wait!

Dreams Do Come True

Why are dreams so important? It gives you HOPE. HOPE is the mental food for the brain, just like we need to eat for our body. (Of course HOPE without action is mere delusion)

And without hope, our sense of existence is just existence, waiting for time to pass. HOPE you gives you the fuel to keep your desire burning, day in and out even when the going gets tough.

With this, I would like to share this video clip which truly outlines the meaning of HOPE. Where there is HOPE, there is light at the end of the dark tunnel. This video is a classic case of Hope. (Bring out the tissues, please)

And I also believe that when your faith and desire in your hope is so strong, the universe will bend backwards and see that all is fulfilled (in this case, Charisse gets noticed by superstars like Oprah and Celine)

So, there is always HOPE and dreams DO come true.

Turning lemon into lemonade

Over the weekend, I was in little red dot aka down south aka Singapore for FitLine business trip.

One of the evenings, my appointment was cancelled and I was left on my own. I dont fancy shopping complexes (all look the same, unless everything is on 70% SALE) thus was wondering how to fill up my time.
I couldnt get hold of my friends there as it was so late minute to call upon them.

Hence, with the principle of 'when-life-gives-you-lemon, you-make-lemonade', I made my way to East Coast Park, heart and mind full of adventure.

There, I rented a mountain bike, and cycled along the beach (there is a nice trail there). There were many fellow bikers and roller bladers enjoying the breeze and view. It was a joy to cycle along the beach(my last experience was in 2007 in St Kilda, Melbourne, Australia. Truly awesome!). I particularly liked the fact that each bike has a bell attached to it, to warn other users of your oncoming approach.

So enjoy the pics!

FitLine Market Research

My art - my doodle

I was invited to attend an event held at a 5 star hotel recently. The founder of an American MLM company was here in Malaysia for the first time, and the person who invited me, P, claimed lots of good things about it.

Being curious and wanting to validate the claims, I attended the event.

The event was supposed to start at 730pm, but as usual, Malaysian time, it only started at 815pm. (But the room, was packed to the brim. My guess - easily 600 pax?)

Speeches first by the key people. And the moment I was waiting for arrived, ie the founder spoke. He went on and on about the product, and spoke WITHOUT any visual aids. I found it very strange that this was the first time I attended an event without any visual aids. Some technical terms were lost.

And yours truly got bored and began doodling.

And my neighbour (whom I think is chinese speaking) also got bored and took interest in my doodling! (he even wore his glasses each time he wanted to sneek peak at my drawings)

I left before the event ended. A 5 year old MLM company doesnt really excite me.

Dream cars and me

I just love SUVs (sports utility vehicles). I have loved 4WDs since very young, but neither my family nor relatives owned one. I just awed from a distance.

Since starting on FitLine business, as part of our system, we were encouraged to start dreaming and visualizing which car we like. And I fell in love with Mercedez ML500. I fell in love with it so much so that I went for a test drive late last year. Can still remember the feeling...Awesome...Amazing...

This is ML500. Price tag - RM500k+

Now, whenever I am on the road(which is VERY OFTEN), I enjoy looking at SUVs. And recently, went to test drive Honda CRV. Thought that the new model looks quite decent.

New model of Honda CRV. Price tag - RM150k
Working on purchasing my SUV 2.0L car enroute to my ML500 :)

Plan B

I recently met up with an old friend of mine, who is clearly frustrated with employment. Stressful environment and little time for family.

I urged C to go into business, and turned Plan B into Plan A.

Fortunately C has passion in the kitchen. Thus, I encouraged C to do something there. Gave C ideas. Talking about it was just so exciting! Helping someone to see the light and get out of employment.

C also mentioned that C doesnt like to network and meet people. I had to inform C that networking is the core of the business. No network=no people=no business. Hard facts of business.

Told C that we shall catch up a few down the road, to see the progress of the business plan!

Diet Plan 2 successful!

Achieved my target. Shed off 1.5kg. Amazed that I did it in 3 days. Perhaps because I nipped it in the bud before it became too large?

It was easy. Just exercised, ate lots of fruits (ideal vegetable portions were a bit tough to achieve), avoided fried and oily food and cut down on carbohydrate (ie rice and noodles)

I was supposed to drink FitLine Gourmet Shake as my dinner during the diet, but heck, friends asked me out for steamboat dinner (using pumpkin as soup base). As a foodie, couldnt resist. But I made sure that during dinner, I only ate the meat/vege. I avoided drinking the soup. Pumpkin is very starchy thus high in carbohydrate.

Ok, now back to normal of food in moderation...

Diet Plan 2 with FitLine continued

Looks like I dont have to diet for 10 days as expected. Yipee! With daily exercise and cautious eating, my weight went down by 0.5kg.

Let's look what I ate yesterday.

Breakfast: FitLine Powercocktail + Rolled oats + 1 apple + 1 pear

Morning break: Milo kosong (Malaysian version of hot chocolate without milk and sugar) - had to drink something. Was prospecting

Lunch : Mee hoon soup

Afternoon break : 1 apple + 1 pear

Dinner: FitLine Gourmet Shake + 1 spoon of FitLine Basics Plus + clear chicken soup + fruit smoothy (without cream)

was I hungry throughout the day? most of the time no. there were certain occasions where hunger pang called. I just drank water and focus on activities on hand :)

Diet Plan 2

Due to the birthday celebrations and inadequate exercising for the past 2 weeks, I realised that I put on 1.5kg. And it obviously shows on my face (ie rounder)

I realised somehow that I have a bit too much flesh on me a few days ago. Somehow, a comment made by someone, when I passed my namecard to him, broke the straw.

Today, I just decided to go on my 2nd Diet, damage control, before things get worst (easier to shed 1.5 kg compared to 15kg!)

My Plan for the next 10 days
Breakfast: FitLine powercocktail + rolled oats + 2 fresh fruits
Lunch : Soupy. Nothing fried or oily plus lots of vegetables.
Dinner : FitLine Gourmet Shake
Snacks: Fresh fruits

I am quite confident that I am able to shed off 1.5kg in 10 days. When I shared my diet plan with C, who wanted to introduce a very famous hokkien mee to me, C was crushed. (supposed to have the hokkien mee one of these days)

Anyway, hokkien mee can wait. But my 1.5kg cant!

Different perspective = change

The more airy trek, compared to the usual trail which is shady

We humans are such creature of habits. When we are so used to doing things a certain way, any changes, we are just so out of our comfort zone.

Last weekend, went to Gasing. This time, I agreed to go because we were using a different trail. I enjoyed the trail to a certain extent, but it was uncomfortable. Wasnt familiar with the steps.

The next day, also went to Gasing. This time, with a different group of people and using the 'reverse' trail (ie instead of the usual A to B, we used B to A). It was quite refreshing.

It made me realise that's life too. Sometimes, just have to tweak our habits so that we get out of our comfort zone and get the creative juices following.

Same like FitLine business. Sometimes, I am so used to doing things a certain way, that I didnt stop to think what better ways can be done. Yes, old ways do bring results, thus repeat the strategy. But it's also good to always be on the lookout and get creative on how things can be improved.

Flu season

A few of my appointments for this week have been postponed. Reason - prospect down with either flu/fever.

And mind you, most of these people are the ones who dont believe in supplements. In their thinking, taking a balanced diet is adequate. Well, that statement was true 15 years ago. Look at our environment now. Polluted water, polluted air, pesticides, herbicides, antibiotics for the livestock and the list goes on.

And these are also the folks who will start popping Vitamin C tablets once they feel their throat is itchy...hmmm...do you send your car to the workshop when you hear noises or do you send according to mileage driven?

Well, that's life. I accept that people have their own mentality. And it's my duty to share about what an amazing product FitLine is. Yes or No, it's another matter.

People make life interesting

I was so excited this morning, that I was finally able to meet up with a prospect whom I have been following up for the past 4 months.

F was just always busy - either outstation or preparing for another project.

And when F was finally available to meet me, I was excited that I was able to share about FitLine with her (at last!)

F was an hour late (how you do anything, is how you do everything), and filled the conversation about all the business disappointments....

Hmm...then I realised that F definitely needs more good vibes, to move on.

That is the interesting thing about FitLine - we meet all kinds of people, the good, the bad and the ugly. That is what makes life interesting :)

Healthy Lifestyle with FitLine

At the peak of Saga Hill

Entrance of Saga Hill

I have been going to Gasing Hill almost consistently every other weekend for the past 1.5 years. However of late, realised that the hill was packed with both people and man's best friend (yes, I have phobia for dogs)

Also, I realised that I was getting too comfortable at Gasing - it was my comfort jungle. And when I'm comfortable, growth stops.

Thus, when a friend invited me to Saga Hill, in Taman Saga, Ampang, I jumped at the opportunity.

Difficulty wise, both Saga and Gasing are similar. The biggest difference is Gasing has a lot of 'proper' steps in the jungle, while Saga is more sandy, thus making footing a little slippery at times.

And of course, while hiking up, I kept on sipping FitLine Fitness Drink to maintain my endurance and for faster recovery. Cheers to variety of jungles!

Indulgence lifestyle

A few of us went for a nice dinner at a 5 star hotel in downtown KL. Out of the 4 of us, 3 of our birthdays fall in the month of August (including yours truly :) )

Thus, it was a good excuse to pamper ourselves. Dinner was good. Began with the starter. Mine was mushroom soup. Authentic and definitely not from the can!

Followed by beetroot sorbet, to prepare our palette for the main meal.

And finally, my main meal - cod fish. This was truly yummy. The cod fish was very well marinated.

Overall, very good dinner, surrounded by friends and most importantly, I am able to savour the lifestyle that I enjoy.

In relaxed mood, savouring the ambience and moment...

Am looking forward to the day when my FitLine business has grown to the extent that such lifestyle is a daily occurance, and not just for special occasion.

Success = Punctuality

One of my definitions of success is respecting other people's time, ie being on time.

Everyone says first impression counts. So, if my prospect, or a speaker is late, then my respect for the person goes out of the window.

Why? By not being on time, you are not respecting the other person's time. So if you are not respecting my time, ie not respecting me, why should I respect you? Respect is to be earned, not be default.

Worst is those who are late, for eg half hour and yet dont apologize!

Restorate drink is so YUMMY!

I attended a full day conference today.

Took the opportunity to network, get to know others. And as usual there are all kinds of people. Some are extroverts and some are introverts.

I honestly wonder, those who intend to become entrepreneuers, how can they keep so a low profile? Quiet and not a great conversationalist.

I decided to share Restorate during meal times, instead of the usual Activize.

And all who drank Restorate, really love the taste! And, someone, whom I approached few years ago, now wants to get a can of Restorate. Wow. Love it!

The world is round...what goes around, comes around

Referring to the entry I made in April,
http://fitline-vitamins-for-you.blogspot.com/2009/04/did-i-do-something.html I was actually quite upset with the person.

The usual me will just be sarcastic to the shop owner. This time round, I decided not to. No point being enemies with someone. Afterall, everyone else in the shop treats me well, only this one person doesnt.

It has been four months now, since the incident passed.

And each time I go there, the person treats me very well now.

Remorse? Well, just glad that I am given good customer service...

Being different, like doing MLM

Ever since I lost my weight early last year, I have resigned to the fact that I actually enjoy exercising, especially in the outdoors. I really enjoy the greeneries, chirping of the birds, humming of the insects and of course, being away from the concrete jungle.

Yesterday, instead of my usual brisk walk/jungle trekking, I cycled instead. And that's the thing about Malaysians/Asians in general. If you are doing something uncommon, people stare. Stare at what? For being different? I have no idea.

And mind you, in my 45 minutes of cycling, I got a few stares. Cars actually slowed down, overtook me and turned around to see me.

I was just cycling, donned in my helmet.

Same like in MLM. Since my background is in Finance, many, especially the baby boomers' generation cant understand why I didnt pursue a career in Finance.

Why not work to the top, be a Financial Controller and earn a comfortable and juicy paycheck of 5 figure a month? Why, instead, want to do sales (ie MLM), attend countless seminars and always subject to rejection?

My answer? Because I know what is the result that I will get, when I have sown my seeds of success, much faster than in the corporate world. Anymore arguments on that, I just move on. No point wasting my time and energy on people who dont matter to me.

Always look beyond in FitLine business

I have this consumer, L who purchases quite a sizeable volume of products from me every month.

L has been purchasing the products for about 6 months now. L was initially a tough nut to crack and is still.

L doesnt have much experience and exposure to MLM products and expects the moon, star and sun from me. I really wonder if she has been exposed to other MLM products, will L be served that well...

I believe in adding value to my organizations, doing things beyond the minimum. Somehow with L, it is never enough.

There was once, I had a conversation with L and I mentioned my principles about how I always add value beyond.

To my disappointment, L replied "Let's wait and see".

Well, my upline always mention - look beyond. or chinese saying 'tai hoi'

FitLine decision: ice cream vs cake

I met my prospect at a cafe famous for its cakes.

The cake pamphlet on the table was just staring at me. And the fact that my prospect was 40 minutes late gave me more time to look at the pamphlet (is God testing my will power???)

The time was late evening, close to 5pm. I normally have my dinner by 730pm. Thoughts were playing in my mind - yes, I would love to have the cake, but then again, it will spoil my dinner, overload of calories and getting the cake is unnecessary expenses.

At the end, I won! I just had a juice and plain water. YEAH! (cant say the same of New Zealand Natural's Macadamia Supreme though. luckily no ice cream pamphlet staring at me...)

FitLine business is so easy to share!

FitLine Activize

Of late, when I share about FitLine with prospects, people always ask me 'tablet form ah'? (ah is a Malaysian pun added to the sentence. Same like lah, mah. Dont ask me how it originated)

And I will always reply, no, it's a drink and they taste great. We dont have tablet formats here as our USP is absorption.

And then I will prepare the FitLine Activize drink for both the prospect and myself. And 99.99% of the prospects will drink the FitLine Activize and 90% are so plesantly surprised that it taste great! (of the hundreds of prospects I have come across with, only ONE prospect refused to drink)

Thus, it's so EASY to share about FitLine! Imagine wanting someone to swallow a tablet? And you offer the tablet to the prospect??? Will you swallow a tablet if someone were to offer to you? I honestly will think MANY times...

Inspiring signals with FitLine day

It was supposed to be a hectic day today, with 3 appointments back to back, and my personal errand to run in the morning. Part of the FitLine MLM business is, some prospects will do a last minute 'no show'. 2 of my appointments were rescheduled. I took things in stride, knowing that it's part of business.

Since the past few days have been very hectic, my telly has been left idle, not touched. Today, managed to watched telly, and caught Oprah Winfrey, twice, airing different episodes.

This lady is truly marvellous. She can literally change the world with her talkshow.

In the first episode, her guests and her talked about Law of Attraction. It caught my attention as I have committed myself to practising whole heartedly for the past few weeks. (yes, and I am seeing results. YES!)

In the second episode, she paid tribute to Dr Martin Luther King Jr. I only knew how great this person is, early this year (I attended a seminar and his famous speeches and videos were reviewed during the seminar)

Thus re-watching Dr Martin Luther King Jr's speech 'I have been to the Mountain Top' sent me down memory lane. During the seminar, it made me realise what my 'promised land' is. And now, the video reminded me what is my 'promised land'. (excerpt of the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0whBALnwgQQ&feature=related)

And I honestly think that the universe is sending me signals (rescheduling my appointments so that I get to watch the Oprah's episodes), and I feel very blessed and excited thinking what lies ahead.

Looking younger with FitLine

Met up with my teampartner today, to both catch up and pass him the products.

My, he looks so much younger, compared to when he first started, which was just 2 months plus ago. (Truly love it when people are the walking testimonies of our products!)

He is a believer of self development and we shared our thoughts of Napoleon Hill, Stephen Covey and the likes of other gurus.

When he mentioned of Napoleon Hill's most famous quote 'what the mind conceives, it can achieve', it sent goosebumps to me. Why? Cos I'm on my quest to my goal and it is just so timely that I hear it again.

Wow. Talking about Law of Attraction...

Excellent customer service during FitLine business

I had such a pleasant service at a cafe. Met my prospect there.

The waitress, Hana, who served us, was just SO pleasant. She was so polite, always smiling.

When I got my bill, I thanked her for her excellent service. And complimented her for her good attitude.

What a gem...

Why cant everyone in the service industry be like her?

Weight Management is Easy with FitLine

I recently attended a health and fitness workshop.

Here, the speaker shared about common myths of health and fitness. The most common concern among folks these days is weight loss.

One participant commented that she wanted to stop being a couch potato and lose weight. When she said that, my mind went like..."You are in the wrong place, girl. You should be in a mind workshop to reprogram you mind"

When it comes to weight management, it's like walking down memory lane. I was there. I know what it's like. And I know how to overcome it.

Thus, I offered to share my story with the rest of the group. And I mentioned that mind setting is the first thing anyone should do. Without mind setting, and the plans will not last.

What do I mean by mind setting?

- why do I want to lose the weight ? (most important question of all. If your answer is just - I just want to look good, the WHY is not good enough.

perhaps you should set your mind to say I want to look good so that I can fit into my dream dress/attire for the upcoming event and why is the event important to me, etc)

when that part is tackled, the rest is easy.

I have lost my weight, and maintained my weight loss of almost 20kg for more than 1 year effortlessly. I eat, I do indulge and thus it has been maintenance free. YES!

Drop me a line should you need me to help you :)

FitLine Prospects' Criterias

Everyone says that anyone can be a prospect in FitLine. I beg to differ.

There are some people who in my opinion, I will not approach to be in my team. Why, because I choose who I want to be in my team.

I enjoy working with people who have a good attitude, high energy and mostly integrity. To me, skills can be learnt.

If in my course of dealing with the person, I realise that the person is arrogant, dishonest and has poor attitude, I would rather not approach the person in FitLine.

A few days ago, I attended a seminar, which was open to the public. There was this guy, very well dressed, sitting right at the back, but unfortunately kept on talking on the phone when the speaker was presenting. A few of us kept staring at the guy, but I guess he has the skin of a rhino (ie thick skinned). All the while, he had his arms around his girfriend/wife.

I am really put off by this public etiquette. Such people are just so rude...Definitely not in my team.

Always Be Closing (ABC) with FitLine

I recently prospected P. After serving P with FitLine Activize, P realised that P has drunk it before! When? A few years ago, when the PM International specially flown in Activize in sachet formats. My business associate, W gave P a few sachets to try.

Unfortunately, W didnt follow up with P. Just gave P a few sachets to try. and P lost touch with W.

P was lamenting on how W didnt follow up. Nothing. No information.

And here I was with P, sharing with P the marketing plan.

Truly, FitLine or any other business is about follow up and we should always be closing. Always be asking the questions to help the prospect to decide whether or not to try the product.

And FitLine is also about following the system. When you follow the system, you will not go wrong. After all, it's proven. Carsten Ledule, our top leader in Germany has been earning six figure euro every month for the past 7 years (in Malaysia, it's more than RM1mil a month!). The system must be working...

FitLine Leadership Training and R&R

Business first

Dream lifestyle : me and my book beside the pool

Last weekend, was great. I took the liberty of having a little R&R at a 4star nearby hotel. The FitLine leadership training was also conducted there and we were given rooms for accommodation.

I took the chance to stay there and slightly pampered myself. I checked in the night before, and proceeded to check out the live band. Truly sucked. Left after 30 minutes.

Had an early night to ensure I was fresh for the training (btw, training is for TPs who hold the rank IMM and above. IMM is the minimum requirement to be recognised as leaders in PM International AG) the next day.

After the training, headed to the poolside to read. It was great! Enjoyed the 45 minutes of reading time, and later on headed to steam bath.

Overall, the FitLine leadership training was good. It reaffirmed my belief and conviction that I'm on the right track...say yes to April 2010!

Interior Design Inspired a FitLiner...

Openess and close to nature

Went to prospect an established interior designer at his office yesterday.

I have actually passed his office many times, as it is along the main road. Didnt notice it as there were many other offices around that area too.

When I arrived at his office, I was truly 'WOWed'. I love his idea of combining openess and nature. Most offices, are so boring. Same colours, designs and very 'boxy'.

He gave me a little tour of his office and when we reached his room, I was more 'wowed'. I enjoyed the view of the vicinity from his room.

Then, I shared about FitLine and how FitLine has helped me with my health and lifestyle. He was definitely hooked by it!

I left his office feeling inspired, and knowing how the interior of my future home will look like...

Focus3x

I recently went for a mini workshop about an alternative stream of income. It sounded really good, really plausible and best of all, it's proven.

My only qualm? I need commitment to study the method and generate another stream of income.

So am I committed? I have committed to so many learnings this year.

Maybe I have to commit myself next year? It's always best to focus on one stream of income first and then only move on to the next.

Focus, focus, focus...currently on FitLine.

Mini hill

The beach (no idea what is the name of this beach), which is the foot of the mini hill

The faithful mini hill, which had served me well, when I was back in my hometown

Ever since I conquered Mount Kinabalu in April, flat lands for exercise is no longer adequate for me. It has to be a combination of hills and flat land.

When I was back in my hometown, pre Mount K, I used to go to the park near my parents' home. Now, the park bores me. Not only it is packed, the place is small, thus I had to go a few rounds to fulfill my exercise quota.

Then, I found this mini hill, near the beach. Not too bad. I went up and down this hill for 5 times to get my cardio workout fix.

A few times, on the way down, passerbys wanted to give me a ride. Guess they are not used to people exercising on that mini hill.

This is my lifestyle - FitLine+exercise+good diet+hmmm...etc....

Vitamins galore!

Clockwise - pears, mangosteen (my favourite!), mango and guava

Got back to KL and first thing on my mind was to exercise and stock up my fridge with fruits (need the vitamins and fiber, aside from taking FitLine). Weather in KL hasnt been too good. It has been hazy.

Went to the nearby night market for my fruit supply. Should be adequate for a week. Well, if it finishes before then, will just stock up. (Notice that my choice of fruits - those which do not require much work to clean and prepare. Haha...call me lazy in that sense!)

Certainty

I have been running up and down to this place for the past few days, and it's well known for its horrendous parking places (ie no place to park!)

Since I have committed to John Kehoe's learning, being a student of Mind Power, I am determined not to fall prey to the parking problem at the said place.

Thus, each time I turn into the premises, I drive in, with the confidence and certainty that there is ALWAYS a parking place for me, near the entrance.

And it has worked very well for me.

D on the other hand, grumbles about lack of parking place and had to resort to walking quite a distance each time.

With this, I also bear in mind that I will, with certainty make the FitLine trip as I envisioned, both in April and June next year. Things will just fall in place and I will be there!

Monday, July 6, 2009

Spot on!

I particularly like meeting up with this FitLine consumer of mine, L.

When I first got to know L, L was so difficult. After a few more encounters, L 'soften' up and L is such an easy person to deal with. L is so witty and has recently retired.

We will always meet at a particular mamak (restaurant selling Indian Muslim food) in Bangsar to catch up and for me to pass L the monthly FitLine products.

This particular mamak, is located in a commercial hub in Bangsar. Thus, parking can be a nightmare sometimes.

However, when I am scheduled to meet L, I will always get a spot right in front of the mamak. And L cant believe it! It has happened for the past 3 times consecutively (also once, L informed me that my car needs shower badly!)

During our most recent meet up,

L asked me. 'Do I have a reserve parking at the mamak???'

I told L, 'Yes'.

L said 'You are BS-ing'

Hahahhahaaa

So, what's my secret of getting the right spot in front of the mamak at all times? I just dont think that I will not get a spot. I drive there, knowing that I will get a spot!

Yummy food at night market

Since I had been away in my hometown for almost a week, my house is devoid of fruits. Not to mention that, dust welcomed itself at my place.

Immediately upon arrival, exercised, then cleaned the house and I headed to a nearby night market. I had to get fruits. Was hoping that I can get mangosteen (I love them!)

Yes, I managed to get mangosteen, nice, cheap and fresh (now is the mangosteen season. RM5 for 2kg) and soursop (I hadnt have soursop for ages!) Enroute to the fruit stall, I saw lots of ready cooked food for sale. Mainly fried food and lots of snack.

And people were queueing up to buy them! Gosh...

Before FitLine, I would have been part of the Q. After FitLine, somehow my taste bud rejects such junk food...or perhaps it is also psychological? That I'm taking good nutrition? Why deplete the good nutrition in my body?

Anyway, it is a good form of food 'rejection'!

Back to exercise...yipeee!

I hadnt been able to exercise for more than a week. Last week, was in Singapore, totally, no time to exercise.

When I got back to KL, got news that I had to get back to my hometown. So jam packed everything in a day and got back to my hometown.

So totally no time to exercise.

When I finally had a chance to exercise today, my heart was leaping with joy! How much I miss the jungle and outdoors and working out my cardio...

Thank goodness for FitLine for the past 1.5 weeks to make sure my immunity is still strong. Things have been so hectic, personal and work wise.

MBBS and nutrition

I was introduced to an opthalmologist recently and was very glad that he is a believer of nutrition. Hence, I took the opportunity to introduce FitLine Nanolutein to the dr.

To cut the long story short, I came to the conclusion that drs are such difficult prospects. With the same amount of effort and energy, a lay person who is interested in better health gives me more results.

Anyway, the dr asked me for more information and I am relaying the request to Germany. Still keeping my fingers crossed.

More money but...

I met up with T the other day. T was sharing with me how money seemed never to be enough. So many bills to pay and money doesnt come easily.

Since I got my money blueprint adjusted, I shared with her my know how - that there are so many opportunities out there - forex, trading, internet marketing, real estate, MLM, etc.

Of course, since my full time earnings come from FitLine, I shared with T the benefits of doing the FitLine business, highlighting both the ups and downs of it.

T mentioned that MLM is not within the scope and is more interested in internet marketing. Thus, I shared with T that there are many previews in town, to know more about how such business opportunities work.

T responded by saying - see how la...hmmm.....how to expect different results by doing the same things?

Freedom

I had been away for a week to down south (ie Singapore). Was attending seminar which showed tools and strategies to achieve financial freedom.

It was amazing to hear world class speakers, who are also multi millionaires to share their knowledge. And indeed, there is abundance in everything!

One speaker, an internet marketing guru showed his bank account. It amassed AUD$150,00+ in just 1 week! 1 week!!! wow. so achievable when you hear it from someone who has done it.

I am getting busier now to achieve MY freedom...

I can see clearly again!

Recently, a friend of mine shared how she paid more than rm2,000 to make 4 pairs of glasses. (btw, she's a baby boomer. Dr said that her astigmatism increased drastically)

So, knowing that FitLine has a product, NanoLutein, that is excellent to help to prevent cataract and reduce astigmatism, I recommended to her.

Lo and behold, a day after taking NanoLutein, she could see CLEARLY again, without the glasses (honestly, I was very amazed by the fast effect. I mean, I know FitLine is an excellent product...but amazed in a good sense!)

The nearest fast effect testimony I know of was feeling the difference of NanoLutein in 2 weeks...

FitLine, even after consuming it for 5 years, still continues to amaze me for its efficacy...Excellent!

630am appointment

This morning we had the priviledge of being invited to showcase our FitLine Fitness Drink in a golf tournament, in an exclusive golf club in klang valley.

Thus, we had to be at the venue at 630am. By 430am, I was already up. Why so early? I was afraid if I went back to sleep, I would oversleep. Cant afford to oversleep on business appointments!

Anyway, the event went well. Enjoyed myself together with my team mates. The golf participants were all high networth individuals (ie CEOs, Dato's, Tan Sri, etc) and they were very friendly and chatty!

Also, got to test drive the golf buggy! Love that piece of equipment.

Perhaps will take up golfing one day?

How rude...

Since attending T Harv Eker's seminar, I have set up accounts to ensure that I put aside money for investment purposes.

And with the current interest rate at FD of a mere 2%, I have been looking for a safe alternative.

My FitLine consumer, Y, is with one of the insurance companies and shared with me that the company may have the solution.

So we agreed to meet up. A little surprised that Y's upline, P was there. (Y didnt inform me. In FitLine, in our system, we must inform the prospect who else are going to be present during the meeting) P presented, I listened. No ice breaking. No a little getting to know you.

Since I'm a melancholic (refer to Personality Plus), I need time to analyze before I do anything. Thus told both Y and P I will get back to them.

Immediately, P's composure changed. When I tried to do small talk with P, P merely concentrated on working at the laptop, without making eye contact with me. Not only that, P was pushing the companies' other products.

Hmm...dont these people know that when speaking to someone eye contact is very important? And after all, service industry=people industry? Plus, P has halitosis. Ewww....And P is consuming an American brand of MLM health products...

Quick Rich Scheme

Recently met up with someone, L who is into an MLM which ventures into food & beverage which uses the binary system.

During the sharing, L was very enthusiastic. L showed me the income statements for the past 7 months, all showing 5 figures amount. Very impressive indeed.

When L shared with me the marketing plan, I didnt doubt at all that L wasnt earning 5 figures. After all, L works hard to share about the plan and L is playing the numbers game. And with L's enthusiasm and contacts, 5 figures is chicken feed to L.

My question in my mind for L is, why did L chose a company which is obviously short term gain (skim cepat kaya/quick rich scheme) ? Why not carefully choose a company and settle with one and work at it, to have consistent and long term income?

Upon inquiry, L has been into more than 20 MLM companies. Perhaps L did try but L's patience wore thin.

I honestly think that such company and system will not last more than 3 years. Why? Because you have to keep on patronizing the F&B outlets every month to utilize the coupons (part of the marketing plan). I for one, prefer variety in my food. What next for L? Company B?

MLM is definitely a good way to make money. But my belief is, choose a company that has minimum monthly good quality consumable products (for repeat sales) and a company that has strong fundamentals.

To me, FitLine is the ONE.

Gender Equality

During MMI over the weekend as mentioned in the earlier post, we had to group for an activity. The activity was based on overcoming FEAR.

Since this was my second time attending MMI, I wasnt fearful at all for the activity. In fact, I had done in more than once. And this time round, I wanted to step up, to be the leader.

Thus when it came to choosing a leader I volunteered. A guy wanted to become a leader, but since I was 'louder', he relented.

One of my teammates, an elderly gentleman close to I think 60 years old, looked worried.

'Have you done this before?' he asked.
I nodded yes.
'Ok, then.'

Hmm...I can bet you, had a guy been the leader, this question wouldnt be asked. Why is it at this time and age that females are still considered the weaker of the gender, given a task which is not physical?

Thank Goodness FitLine doesnt discriminate genders!

Weekend of learning and fun

Last weekend, went for a refresher course of Millionaire Mind Intensive (MMI). At the same time, wanted to network to spread the awareness of FitLine.

As usual, Harv Eker delivered his masterful piece. But what was interesting was the people that I met.

Some participants were very friendly and energetic and some were....dont know what they were doing there. They were reading their own books while the speaker was presenting.

Anyway, met a few people whom we bonded quite well. A weekend well spent, I would say. :)

Smile and the world smiles back at you

I was about an hour early for my FitLine appointment today.

Rather than walking aimlessly nearby, I decided to park myself at a mamak. Brought my book to read. Thought of having just water and papadam(crackers made from pea, of indian origin), since I was having lunch appointment.

When I passed my orders to the waitress, she looked at me at disbelief. ('only water and papadam???' was written all over her face)

Then, I gave my biggest, sweetest smile and informed her that I was waiting for my lunch appointment.

She returned a huge smile and said 'Ohhh' (no-wonder-you-are-not-eating look!)

I chuckled. Everyone is so set to the norm. When you do something out of the ordinary, you just stick out like a sore thumb.

In the Q

After a meeting last night at the shopping mall, I took the opportunity to get a few things I had been wanting to purchase from the departmental store. It was already late, close to 945pm. The store closes at 10pm.

I rushed to get my items and the queue at the cashiers were so long. I combed all the cashiers and all the queues were long.

No choice, had to join one of the queues. As usual, I got bored waiting. I wanted to lull the time away by talking to someone. Hmmm...who should I talk to?

Decided to talk to the lady in front of me. How I broke the ice? Asked her what she is buying, what is it for, etc...

We had quite a good conversation. Found out that she just came back to Malaysia from US, travels quite a bit for work, etc. And soon, it was my time to pay. Thank Goodness!

Honestly, if it wasnt the training for FitLine, I wouldnt have mustered the courage to talk to strangers. Good for me!

Dark and Light

This article is dedicated to my good friend, GY. You make me laugh, my dear...lol

I had lunch with my very good friend, GY yesterday. A few things happen during the lunch, but too long to describe it here. Will just pen a summary of us...

Both of us are similar in our own ways -
1. we have our goals to reach and we want things done FAST.
2. we both care very deeply about our family and friends
3. we are both people of integrity
4. we enjoy reading (although different genre of books)
and much, much more...

But both of us are also different in our own ways -
1. I am a perfectionist, GY is a well...as long as things get done, GY is fine. Doesnt have to be in a straight line, not in order, etc...You get my drift.
2. GY loves to do public speaking. I am doing it now, as part of my self growth. Getting better at it day by day
3. I am quite good with my road directions. GY once called me 'walking GPS'
4. GY is good at coming up with 'out-of-this-world' witty replies much to my amusement.
and much, much more...

These are what make our friendship so special and unique. We are both so different and yet, we accept our differences and enjoy each other's friendship.

And GY, your youngest son, to me, is a replica of you (behaviour wise). He makes me laugh too!

Joys of Wedding Dinner

I have been looking forward to a wedding dinner of an ex-colleague. Why? Cos I get to meet my ex-colleagues, some whom I havent seen for about 10 years now and also, to share with them that I am in FitLine, and I look good.

As predicted, those I hadnt seen for about ten years, cant recognise me. And as I predicted again, 99% of them put on weight. The 1%? I guess too stressed at work to eat.

And the joke went round that whoever needs to lose weight, come and see me...

It really feels good to look good and be healthy. Not to say that I wanna gloat among them, but it does boost my self confidence.

Waiting for them to email me pics so that I can put it up here.

Insanity = Same actions, different results

Met up with a friend, T, yesterday. I have been sharing with T about business opportunity in FitLine.

T is currently not doing well, as the management of the company is under scrutiny. Thus, job security is in question.

In the past, T did mention about wanting to 'try' to do FitLine to get some income. Thus, we agreed to meet up, to see how we can strategize and help T to achieve his goal.

When I suggested to T on certain actions T needed to take, T came up with 1,001 excuses.

Hmm...no wonder certain successful people said that, you will actually know whether someone will eventually achieve success or not, based on the 5-10 minutes of conversations with the person.

As for me, I'm moving on. I mention to T, I am there to help T when T is ready.

Like what Jim Rohn says "Help those who deserve it, not those who needs it".
