In Memory of my Grandma

Although this blog is meant to talk /share views on FitLine, I feel that I have to add this post, as a form of respect and honour to my Grandma, or Ah Po, as I fondly call her.

My Grandma recently passed on, on 29 January 2009. She passed on at the age of 97 years old, thus Chinese age is 100 Years old (Chinese age need to add 3 years to the IC age).

Although we are all sad that she has passed on, but her legacy lives on. She is a very kind hearted and tolerant lady. She came to Malaya when she was 16 years old, living her family behind, to escape the harsh poverty in China. Here, she endured hardship for many years and manage to raise 4 wonderful and successful children.

My Grandma raised both my brother and myself since my parents were working. I have many fond memories of her, compared to my other cousins, since my Grandma were with us most of the time.

I am glad that I was able to be with her on her last few days before she left us. My family were staying vigil at the ICU ward. Before she left us, we kept assuring her that we truly love her. Death is an inevitable part of life. All of us have to go through it.

My belief is - Live a good life. Dont have regrets at the end of it. Surround yourself with family and good friends. Be of service to others. My motto in life is to 'be healthy, wealthy and happy'.

Rest in Peace, Ah Po.

More money or more time or BOTH?

I was having dinner with a friend last night at a restaurant. Midway through dinner, the lady owner came to our table to say hi.

My friend is a frequent customer at the restaurant. The lady owner was down with cough and sore throat. And she looked terrible. Reason? She lacked sleep as she was busy baking cookies for sale at her restaurant and cooking/preparing other food items for sale in conjunction with CNY.

That is where it dawned on me. The restaurant, which is a family business is doing well. However, this lady owner is always busy coming up with new products/ideas to improve the business. As a result, her health takes a toll. Even the husband, is having a grey crown (all of his hair has turned grey).

Do you want to have more money? and no time for health or even go on holiday?

Or Do you want to have more time? but no money to buy the finer things in life or go on holiday?

Or Do you want to have more time AND money? and have money to buy finer things in life, to help people in need, to go for your dream holiday and spend time with your loved ones?

So, if your answer is more time and money, how do you go about it?

You need to have passive income. And how do you get passive income. You need to do investment. And how do you get the capital to do investment? By having a business, that generates enough steady cashflow.

And MLM is one of the many businesses with the lowest capital required. Of course, it's not a 'skim cepat kaya'. You dont get to be a millionaire overnight. If you are told you will, please RUN as fast as possible. No such things as overnight millionaire, unless you won the lottery.

You need to put in your hours. Some people take one month, some six months, and some three years. It all depends on you – how many hours are you willing to put it, whether you would like to take the highway or trunk road to get to your destination. Once your organisation is built, with the steady cash flow, start investing and eventually MLM also gives you passive income.

Of course MLM has gotten a bad name. However, there are many good ones around. PM International AG, which distribute FitLine range of products, is one of those. With 16 years of existence, and solid financial standing, NOW is the time to join the wellness wave.

So what are you waiting for?

Mmmmm...junk food is so delicious!

I was at a hypermarket earlier, stocking up my supplies of fruits and vegetables.

Then, I felt hungry. The rows of junk food, and the availability of fast food truly tempted me. It was so tempting to just fill my grocery basket with junk food and ice cream.

Then I remembered that I have made a resolution to myself last year that I shall make an effort to cut down on empty calories and eat only healthy food.

It truly wasnt easy, peeling myself away from the colourful junk food aisle. In no time, I was home, and I quickly devoured a sweet mango I just purchased. Mmmm...the taste of fresh mango. Yummy.

This is what I meant earlier in my post about change in lifestyle. Weight loss just isnt about the 3 months of dieting. The 3 months is simple, of replacing some of your meals with FitLine Gourmet Shake. The true challenge is AFTER the 3 months, where you are constantly bombarded by fast food Ads, the pasar malam with their array of snacks, etc. This is when you remind yourself that you have lost the kgs and dont want to go through the ordeal of losing the bulging fats again. This is when you tell yourself that you want to live healthily and want to look and feel good.

I'm so proud of myself ! Two pats on the back for conquering mind over matter! *Clap* Clap*

Anyone wants to join me in living and eating healthily?

From 75kg to 59kg...

The old me, at 75kg

The new me, at 59kg

The other day, met up with this prospect to share about FitLine. She is about 10kg above her ideal weight.

Since my greatest testimony with FitLine is my weight loss, I automatically fished out my 'before FitLine' (75kg) and 'after FitLine' (59kg). She immediately said to me that she is happy with her weight. OK. fine. looks like someone is in denial, like how I was for the many years before I finally decided to lose weight.

Well, that's the thing about weight loss and many other things in life. First things first. Need to admit that we are overweight.I was heavy and I was fine about my size. Losing weight was too much work. Exercising is not in my vocabulary. I love to eat. And when it finally hit me, I had to do what I had to do. So I decided to shed the kilos. Wasnt easy. Took a lot of determination. But most importantly, lifestyle change.

Now I enjoy exercising. I do it daily. Heck, I'm even going up Mount Kinabalu next year! I still love to eat. But I watch what I eat. Cut down on fried and oily food and lots of fresh fruits and vege. And I have maintained my weight since May 2008.Weight loss is a lifestyle change. Not a 3-4 months change. And the best part of showing my pictorial testimony - "Was this YOU???" Love that moment :) And yes, the pictures in this post are ME.

So wanna know how I did it? Just drop me a line. If I can do it, so CAN you!

Would you like to own a FREE car?

My FitLine car...

Have you seen any of these black colour cars with 'FitLine Creates Champion' bolds displayed all over the car?

I really like the looks of other road users especially at traffic lights. They will look at my car, then look at me. I will just give them a broad smile. Feels good to be noticed!
And occasionally, I am asked at the petrol station or any drive through, what is 'FitLine'? A fitness outlet?

Then, I will jump at the opportunity to share about the product. Isn't it amazing? The power of the 'black car'? And the best of course is the question...'Is this a company car?'. It's not. It's my car. And I can show you how to get one for FREE.

Is FitLine a fitness centre?

I actually created a blog before 2009. Just consolidating the blogs...

I have been wanting to create a blog on FitLine since early 2008. Before 2009 starts, I have promised myself that it will get done. What is the purpose of creating this blog?FitLine, a cutting edge German health food supplements is relatively unknown in Malaysia. Although we have been around for 5 years now, whenever I speak to anyone about it, I get the 'look'.Since I'm doing FitLine as a business, it is thus my duty and responsibility that everyone in Malaysia, Asia and around the world get to know of this EXCELLENT German product. So, world wide web, here I come !

By now, I'm sure you have figured that FitLine is NOT a gym, but indirectly related to fitness...

Wow, so full of energy!

I was in Singapore over the weekend for a seminar. It was a 2 day seminar. The first day, the itinerary mentioned that it was supposed to end at 10pm. However, it dragged on until 1130pm. I looked around me. The majority of the crowd of 300+ pax were dozing off or yawning all the way...

Me, I was still wide eyed, like an owl. And I have FitLine to thank for my sustained energy.

The next day, we were supposed to get to the venue by 730am. So, all in all, by the time I reached home the night before, I had only 5 hours of sleep. And I was still alert, energetic and awake. The rest were complaining of fatigue. Again, thank you FitLine!

I came back on Monday, on a 5 hours journey coach. Watched 2.5 movies on the coach (0.5 movie because I didnt get to complete it) and slept about 20 minutes. Upon reaching KL, I was full swing into activities, ie drove to PJ to get my products, and my exercise of 1 hour up the Kiara Hill. Didnt manage to sweat it out in Singapore and boy I really missed my exercise!

When I called my family that night, all of them presumed that I was exhausted from the travelling. Honestly I wasnt. Even when I retired to bed, I was still wide eyed. And this is what FitLine is all about - Cell Energy Concept. Providing sustained energy to the cells throughout the day.

Isnt that what we need most? Urban life. With all the stress, mental and physical ongoings. All of us need the extra boost of energy, to keep going. And FitLine is able to do so. Other products talk about the greatness of their antioxidant or other potencies, but FitLine talks about Cell Energy Concept - getting energy to the cells, the basic living unit of our body, which matters the most.

So, my question to you is - Do You FitLine?

I don't believe in processed food

Today, I met up with this person to share about FitLine.

Before I could start, she told me that she doesnt believe in supplements because they are all processed and contains a lot of chemicals, preservatives, fillers, etc. Thus, she would rather take the natural food. She mentioned that she has done all research on ALL of the health products in the market and all are BS.

This is a very common remark that I often get. That the safety and quality of food supplements are not guaranteed.

So, I assured her, with FitLine, it is different. We adhere to International Good Manufacturing Practice (iGMP) and we even have our highest endorsement of safety in vitamins from Swiss Vitamin Institute of Lausanne. And both of these endorsements are third party. Fine, enough said, my prospect is assured of the quality now.

But, she is still unconvinced that supplements are necessary in our current lifestyle. I remember we did a body fat % scan a few week earlier on her, and hers was above 35% (ladies in her age group should have lesser than 33%). And another comment remark is, she feels fine. Thus, no need for supplements.

This is where education comes in. Feeling fine doesnt mean we are fine. When pain emerge, our body is already in semi healthy condition. Thus, we have to maintain our health to stay in the healthy zone.

Our current lifestyle of eating out, truly lacking in fresh and raw fruits and vegetable make supplement a MUST. We are just not getting enough recommended nutritions daily from our current diet and supplements are required to close the gap.

At the end of our meeting, I just thank her for her time, and in my heart, I pray that her health condition is ok. And she actually represents the MAJORITY of the people in the population, that I'm-fine-so-no-need-supplements.

Excuse me, what did you do to lose weight?

I was doing my usual evening walk today, when a fellow walker staying in my condominium stopped and asked.

"Excuse me, you have lost a LOT of weight. What have you been doing?"

This is the moment that I always LOVE. People notice my weight loss, people stop to ask me how it's done, etc. And the best part is, I enjoy my current lifestyle of exercise and living healthily.

I'm currently 59kg, having lost 8kg in 3 months. And I have maintained my weight, since May 2008. I eat my meals, but of course, avoid oily and deep fried food. So I get the kicks too, when people ask me whether I eat rice or carbohydrate. The fact is, I still love to eat. Just that I choose what to eat. I avoid calorie laden food which lacks nutrition.

And when I exercise, I feel good. And when I feel good, I am able to perform better in my daily activities. And it's a cycle. A good cycle I should say.

And you must be wondering, how does the diet program work? Simple. You only need 3 months to start off with. After that, it's your choice whether you still want to lose more.

Month 1 - Replace breakfast and dinner with FitLine Gourmet Shake. Lunch - low carbohydrate. Lots of fruits and vege. Lots of plain water. No soda, coffee, alcohol. No snacking

Month 2 & 3 - Replace breakfast with FitLine Gourmet Shake. Lunch & dinner - low carbohydrate. Lots of fruits and vege. Lots of plain water. No soda. Little coffee, alcohol. No snacking

So that's it. Simple plan. And it WORKS! (cos many people, including myself did it)
