Back To Basics

I had a chat with a friend a few days ago.

We were talking about how simplicity to life is the key. I agree. However, I sincerely believe that no matter how simple your life is, we need savings/pool of funds for the rainy day.

This person has NIL savings. Why? Cos still healthy (ie no pain yet, but overweight) and kids are all grown up.

I am not saying that this person's opinion is wrong. What I am saying is, to live this way, ie NO savings, is like treading on eggshells. Just hoping and praying that all things will be fine.

And to me, FitLine provides a source of passive income. It will be.

Survival of the Fittest

I have my utmost respect for my upline, Mr AC.

AC has been in the MLM industry for more than 15 years. In chinese, he's called 'old bird' (ie matured in the industry)

Recently, he qualified for the Winter Leadership in Germany. There, a handful of Asian qualifiers were feted to fine dining and 5star resort setting in the mountains of Munich, Germany. Here are the links to the pictures http://www.facebook.com/#!/photo.php?fbid=468122132277&set=a.468121907277.253964.652242277

AC is one of the pioneers in FitLine. He joined when FitLine first landed in Malaysia, ie in year 2003. He saw the vision. He had a dream. That one day FitLine, will be THE food supplement in Asia. Why? Because it's MADE IN GERMANY, very FAST RESULTS in DRINK format and most importantly, TASTE GREAT.

And, I concur with his dream and vision. FitLine BOLEH!

Latest Children's product - FitLine Basics Junior

A friend came over to my place a few days ago with her 2 kids. After dinner, the youngest son, age 6, needed to use the loo for bowel movement.

15 minutes after he was done, my whole condominium smelt of 'poo'! Gosh. A 6 year old has an odour bowel movement!?! Something must be wrong some where. A healthy person should not emit any odour during bowel movement. Only a person, whose bowel is unhealthy will have smelly bowel movement.

Thank goodness for our latest children's product, FitLine Basics Junior. Helps with bowel movement for kids.

Thank you FitLine for the Energy!

I always share that I really thank FitLine for giving me the energy to do more activities these days, compared to 10 years ago.

10 years ago, exercise was never in my vocabulary. Why? Because I didnt have the energy for it.

Now, with FitLine, I have conquered the highest peak in South East Asia. And recently, went to one of the hills in Klang Valley. The view from the top was magnificent.

The picture above, shows the Klang Dam, which is the main water supplier for the Federal Territory, capital of Kuala Lumpur.

Once again, thanks FitLine for the energy.

Games are a reflection of Behaviour

Cash Flow 101 Board Game

In MLM we always say that one of the priviledges of the industry is we get to choose who we want to work with.

And most of the time, unless you have excellent 6th sense, you are not able to dwell deeper into the person's character.

That's why I enjoy playing Cash Flow 101 so much. Not only it has helped me with my financial literacy, it has helped me to filter those whom I want to work with and those I just want to stay away from.

Cos you dont want to work with someone who is dishonest, and selfish.

FitLine is all about team work and working together to achieve a common goal. Many people ask me. So many health products in the market. My answer - AHA, but none of them are from Germany.

Call me a German freak :)

Life Long Learning Process

Although I have been doing the FitLine business for a few years now, it still never fails to surprise me that there are still certain types of people whom I havent come across.

Of course now that I am more immune to different kinds of people, I sometimes still need time to accept people's personality.

I recently came across this professional. I would view this person as very narrow minded, conservative and skeptical. Chinese will call it very 'kiasi' (scared to die)

I actually feel sorry for this person. Why? For all the opportunities lost for being so close minded, for all the friendships missed for being so skeptical and for all the other joys in life unknown for being scared.

Thank goodness for FitLine for opening my mind and heart that the world is indeed my oyster.

What Are Your Priorities in Life?

I was talking to a friend one day and we agreed that life should revolve around priorities - God, family, friends, career, etc.

Why am I so BIG on priorities? Because I realise that all of us, including myself try to procrastinate as much as possible important but not urgent things like making sure the bank account balances, filing of documents, making sure the personal financial statement is updated.

Why procrastinate? Cos they are so boring and painful to do. But absolutely necessary.

Like FitLine. Ensuring the namelist is always kept active is boring. But necessary and a priority, as follow up is the name of the game in MLM.

That's life, aint it, be MLM or conventional business. Boring activities are necessary as they are the tools of the trade. Thankfully, my reward at the end of the namelist is, I get to meet sometimes very interesting people who turn into very good friends.

Counting my blessings :)

People Power!

A few of us wanted to book a particular venue for a function. I was asked to be in charge. And I did the necessary - correspond with the person in charge. And I was told the venue isnt available, although we know it is!

So how to get what we wanted? Instead of calling and emailing, we went directly to see the person in charge.

After a bit of rapport building, the person agreed to allow us to have the venue. WOW. Talk about team work. Talk about building rapport. Talk about winning people's heart.

Lesson learnt for me - it's still building bridges at the end of the day.

Scientific Explanations?

Over the past few weeks, I have been meeting people who asked me about the scientific explanations on how FitLine works so effectively. I explain the best as I could and apparently it wasnt good enough!

Thus, I was pondering. Should I go down this slippery slope, where I am not a scientist and yet dwell into its scientific path?

At the end, I decided not to. Why? Because there is no end to the scientific explanations as all the scientific works are carried out in Germany. Why should I crack my head over something that I have no authority of? I should just concentrate on doing what I do best - share about the goodness of Fitline, that you can feel the effect in less than 10 minutes.

KISS - Keep It Short and Simple.

FitLine Omega3, the best Omega3 in the market

I have been recently promoting FitLine Omega3 to all that I meet. Why? Because I sincerely believe that ours is the best available. That's me. Whatever that is good, be it I am getting paid for it or not, I sincerely share it. Why? Good things are meant to be shared!

Thus, when I recently met a gentleman who asked for the technicalities of how our Omega3 is far superior than the rest, I contemplated. Normally, in the past, I would have brushed aside such request. However, this gentleman promised me that should I am able to furnish him the details, he has a long line of people to recommend to me. All we are taught in our system is 'FitLine Omega3 is the first in the market to be water soluble, hence, more superior than the rest'

Thus, I hesitated. Should I dwell in the technicalities and later intimidate my group because in order to be an excellent FitLiner, you must know EXACTLY how it works?

Contrary to : I know that AFTER I take FitLine, I just feel better (which is far more duplicable).

Hmmmm...

More Like-Minded Friends

I will be celebrating my BIG day in 2 days time.

Yesterday, celebrated my friend's birthday, whom I got to know 2.5 years ago. I shared with this friend how I made a resolution 3 years ago that I want to get to know ONE good friend every year.

Of course I make friends almost every week, but good friends are far and few.

And so far, for the past 3 years, I have been celebrating my birthday with different groups of people - school friends, university friends, business partners, etc. Wonderful to know that I am still continuing to make good friends.

And thanks to FitLine, I get to meet more people :)

When the Student is Ready...

A few years ago, I tried my hand at public speaking. I hated it. I hated the whole process.

Now, 5 years forward, I am beginning to enjoy myself. Why? I went for a few seminars, that helped me with public speaking and how to conduct training effectively.

And also, public speaking is a necessary aspect of being a successful business builder in FitLine. Thus, I changed my mindset and gave it another shot. The link, is the photo taken last weekend, during our public event. I had a BLAST!
http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/photo.php?pid=6146637&id=751682227

Hope those of you who are in Klang Valley can join us for our next event. Let me know if you would like me to keep you in the loop.

Have a great week all!

Variety is the Spice of Life

For the past few weeks, I have been meeting very interesting people. Some are FitLine prospects, some are contacts at networking events and some are folks I meet at public places.

Whenever I meet these people who behave strangely, I wonder what made them behave they do. Is it insecurity? Or is it due to bad experience?

Like this morning. Went to the hypermarket to get groceries and dropped by the cold cuts department to get my sandwich fillings.

And then this Uncle came in, pleading for help, carrying 3 bags full of things (pork meat). Apparently, he is the supplier to this cold cut department.

The staffs there were empathic, seeing this old man, in his 70s, struggling to walk and yet have to carry so many heavy things. The staffs were cursing and swearing at the security guard for not allowing the Uncle to use the hypermarket trolley (guard said it will contaminate the trolley since it contains pork)

I felt sorry that people have such poor racial tolerance and understanding towards each other.

By being in FitLine, it allows me to be exposed to all kinds of people. I just cant imagine being stuck as a pen pusher in the corporate world.

Go with the Flow

For the past few weeks, I have been having this motto, to go with the flow. To be calm and relaxed no matter the situation. Of course, easier said than done when someone does something which really gets to you.

However, with practice and awareness, it gets easier. And I will always remember this saying 'Please grant me the wisdom, to know when to let go and when to persevere'.

Because many things happen beyond our control, and it depends on our reaction/respond to it.

Especially in the FitLine MLM industry, where so many things are beyond our control - prospect postpone last minute, prospect promise to come but dont, etc. The late Jim Rohn once mentioned, 'dont ask why'. He said 'that's the way it is'.

Accept things as they are, and then move on :)

Life of a MLMer

Some prospects are just so nice, ie they warm up to you immediately. Some take some time (ie give 1 worded answers), and some people are just so busy to get hold of them that it takes more than 5 calls to get an appointment.

And when you finally meet the prospect who warms up to you almost immediately, and have such an enjoyable conversation, it makes the process all worth while.

And mind you, MLM is also all about timing. Some people are just not ready to take care about their health when I share with them, but they are ready 6 months or even 2 years down the road.

I recently had a very interesting conversation with a prospect. Tried calling him a few months ago when first met him. Turned me down. And after my recent fortnight e-mail sharings, he called me and we met up over dinner.

And I had such an interesting conversation - sharing about life and what the future holds for the country. And it makes the whole FitLine MLM process worthwhile.

Commitment to Your Clients

In FitLine, we have a 1-4-7-21 system to follow to ensure effective follow up. We are advised to call our clients after 1 day, 4 days, 7 days and 21 days. This is to ensure that the clients are consuming the products correctly and should they face healing crisis, we can advise them accordingly.

This particular client of mine bought FitLine Activize from me a month ago. I followed up with him every few days. Days led to weeks. And 1 month plus later, he began to fall sick due to work and personal stress.

Again, I pursuaded him to take Activize. And now he finally took. And he said "Wow. Your products are really good. I feel much better now."

My answer to him "Yes, FitLine products are good. Just need to give them a try".

Health is Wealth

A few days ago, I met up with my business partner. I put aside time to meet up with her as she is constantly on the move for work.

We had lunch and I ordered food. We were talking on the topic of beverages and I shared that I have stopped drinking milk for more than 6 years. She was shocked. She asked me how come I have the discipline to take care of health?

I informed her that I want to age healthily and gracefully. I dont want to be in pain in my 50s and I want to enjoy the later years and have energy and abundance to do so. And that's why I am consuming FitLine.

She nod in agreement. Indeed health is wealth.

Health Matters

I recently moved to a condominium which has gym facility. Since I believe in healthy lifestyle, went for a workout in the gym.

Another person, who is staying in the condo and using the gym shared how people dont take health seriously. And he slammed those MLMers who claim their products are so great and they look terrible.

I do agree with him that we have to be the product of the product. No point raving this and that and dont take the products diligently and not helping ourselves by leading a healthy lifestyle.

To me, healthy lifestyle is a choice. FitLine IS a lifestyle.

Moving at Last!

I have been staying at my current place for the past 10 years. 1 year became 2, 2 years became 3 and so on.

And now, I have finally moved out.

The process wasnt pleasant though. searching for the right place, getting a mover, packing and unpacking.

But that is what happens when there is change isnt? Change is never pleasant. But it is a necessary process, and part of life.

Same with FitLine. With FitLine, there are so many changes in terms of self development, only if you allow it to happen. Some resist, fearing the unknown, some accept it,taking a leap of faith.

I have always believed that sometimes, in order to live life, we need to take the road not taken.

Well, I'm looking forward to the 2nd half of 2010! what about you?

Networking Like a Pro

Last week, I attended a 'Business Networking Charity Dinner'. Since I believe that the more you give, the more you receive, and I wanted to give to a good cause.

Upon arrival, I saw many insurance agent and will writers, busy canvassing all the guests there. Dont get me wrong. I am OK with salesperson. But only when I am looking to buy something and no hard sales! Imagine being sold to when you start talking to someone less than 5 minutes! What a bummer!

Anyway, ever since reading more books on networking, I am focusing on adding value first to my FitLine prospects and doing that sincerely. People normally want to receive first before start giving.

Change = Movement = Betterment

For the past month, many things happened, and mainly things that require me to move out of my comfort zone, both in FitLine and my personal life.

It's truly not easy. But I believe that moving out of comfort zone = change = betterment. It's very true that people only change when they are faced with a 'make or break' decision.

It is happening to me now. Looking forward to what these changes will bring me to :)

Good Friends, the Priceless Relationships

I always share with people how FitLine really changed my life. Mindset change, lifestyle change, physical appearance (hey, am really proud of my weight loss yeah!) and most importantly the people that I meet and able to connect at a very deep level.

Without FitLine, I dont think I will be able to meet these people. Why? Because I wouldnt bother to make small talk and connect further from there (yes, I was a bit of hermit then!). With FitLine, we always encourage building relationships. Some people comment this is manipulative. But to me, who doesnt want more friends? And these relationships are sincere. If they join us in FitLine, it is a bonus. Or else, we just remain friends. Who knows things may take off from there.

Coming back to my topic. I have known KT for about 2 years plus. Things didnt really sky rocket from the beginning. We had our moments. However, it is only lately, that we are able to connect at such deep level that I am really glad that our paths crossed. Sharing of dreams, aspirations, ideas, etc.
Cheers to FitLine and Friends!

Self Development, the Infinite ROI

Over the past 3 years, I have spent a lot on self development, ie seminars, books and CDs. Perhaps about RM30,000 in 3 years? So that works out to be RM10,000 on average?

And a few days ago, I was very fortunate that I was able to 'realise' a bit of the returns on the self development investments that I have been making.

I have never liked public speaking. I tried it once, 4 years ago. And I hated it. Vowed not to do it anymore. Preferred to be a listener than a speaker.

Then, when I decided to do FitLine full time and to be a serious business builder and achieve success, it somehow dawn upon me that public speaking is one of the criteria. So like chinese saying 'bo pien' (translation - no choice) I again threw myself in this arena, to be one of the speakers for FitLine.

And since I am also a believer of self development, I began to attend seminars. And a few days ago, with just 4 days to prepare, I gave a BRILLIANT presentation on FitLine. And the best part of all? It felt so natural to do it and have my good friend, GY to witness my presentation and be part of my growth and journey. It really felt great! Indeed, success breeds success and success is really sweet.

I am so Blessed

This morning, while on the way to an appointment, I narrowly missed being involved in a car accident.

The motorists here in KL love speeding on the outer lane, which is ok as long as it's clear. But as usual, the traffic in the morning is always bumper to bumper. Thus, when the car in front applies emergency brake and the car behind is too close, pile up occurs.

Hence, when the pile up occurred to the cars behind me, I just said a few words of gratitude and prayer of thanks for safety.

Perhaps it's true - that all the donations given and services rendered without expecting anything in returned is shown back to me in the form of blessing ?

And with FitLine, I service my team and whoever I meet with a sincere heart that they will have good health and better lifestyle.

Keeping Relationships Warm

I truly believe that the world is small, and I also truly believe in karma or the law of cause and effect. Whatever that we do, both good and bad, will come back to us, in one form or another.

A few incidents happened lately, and I remind myself not to repeat the mistakes that they did. In my mind, they practically burnt their bridges to potential prospects or business partners.

Scenario A:
Couple A used to be in MLM. found products so-so, ie not much improvement. thus decided to go on organic and VOW not to touch any MLM products. When I met this couple and shared with them that I'm with FitLine and offered Activize to drink, they flatly refused me.

And a few days ago, I found out that they are very active in another MLM and they were persistent enough to call me to attend their BOM. Hmm...Never give up attitude? Work hard but not smart?

Scenario B:
Couple B was looking to join MLM. Shared with them about FitLine. Promised they will take up Quickstart (ie Manager set) of which they never did. Subsequently found out that they had committed to another MLM, let's call it MLM B. And recently, received an email from Couple B, stating that they are now active in MLM C and wanted me to go online to vote for them to win something. In the email, everything was 'I', 'I', 'I'. Read somewhere that, a good business letter should never have 'I', but use 'we' and 'us'.

Just rambling here, to remind myself not to burn bridges, to keep relationships warm, because never know, that the world is getting flatter, with everyone getting connected and whatever that we do 10 years ago may just return in another form today.

Kindred Spirit in FitLine

Had an interesting meeting with a prospect yesterday. As usual, I somehow get along with people who are much older than me.

What was interesting about the meeting was both of us are in the MLM industry (ie competitors) and both of us testified that without MLM we wouldnt have seen so much personal development.

Both of us agreed that being in MLM forced us to change ourselves to become better person, should we want to achieve greater things.

And I cant agree more to that. Had I chose to still be in corporate, I wouldnt have been able to meet so many amazing people and have a different outlook to life.

Cheers to FitLine!

Always Looking Ahead

Recently things have been challenging, both personal and business related. However, I am determined to take things in stride as it will make me a better person.

As mentioned earlier, I recently joined a business referral organization. To my surprise, there is a lot more to it. And I just realised that it is another phase in my life, another opportunity to grow, another opportunity to bond with like minded people and most importantly, setting the sail right.
This picture, taken recently in Munich, Germany, shows that I am looking ahead. And yes, when the going gets tough, just look ahead and the tough gets going.

Germany, home country of FitLine

As mentioned in the earlier post, I just came back from Europe. Was in Germany for the FitLine World Congress. Every year, the world congress is held around April.

As this was my first time in Europe, I was pretty excited about the trip. Heard so much of its famous and delicious pork knuckles and most of all, I get to see the FitLine HQ in Speyer.

It was definitely exciting to see the rows of FitLine cars - the BMWs, Mercedez, Audi, VWs all lined up in the parking lot. Most importantly, I managed to witness the celebration of our top leader moving up rank - the highest rank in the compensation plan - Carsten moved up to Silver Champion League. Wow. It was amazing to be able to watch it and be there in person.

A few of us planned to come back directly after the congress. However, when the 'ash' news was delivered, we had no choice but to take a vacation (since all airports in Europe are closed)

So from Karlsruhe, off we went to Nurnberg, Austria and then back to Munich. Austria is such a BEAUTIFUL place. Will want to go there again. And Munich - the super efficient public transport. Very impressed with the system. When can Malaysia be like that I wonder?

During the FitLine world congress
Enjoy the pics...

Guaranteed Delivery?

Was away in Europe for the past 10 days. Was there for the FitLine World Congress in Germany and had extended stay due to the airports closure in Europe. So, it was definitely an experience.

Anyway, encountered something today which I found to be contemplating.

I wanted to post a letter and went to a Post Office to discover that it was relocated. Then I was thinking, should I or should I not post my letter there since the letter box was still there!

I suddenly thought of FitLine and our NTC concept, where we guarantee absorption of nutrients into our 70 trillion cells.
And then I made a decision, that I chose FitLine and thus I went to the Post Office where it is still functioning! :)

Thank you FitLine

While talking to my personal trainer today, he said he wanted to thank me.

During his session with his client, his client was very exhausted. He advised his client to consume FitLine Fitness Drink. And lo and behold, almost immediately his client felt much better!

And he thank me for introducing Fitline Fitness Drink. Of course, you cant go wrong when thousands of Olympian medalists drink FitLine Fitness Drink. That made my day :)

Millionaire Mind

I was chatting with a friend, T who is turning 55 soon. I got excited at the fact that soon T will be able to get half price on almost everything - movies, air tickets, train rides, etc.

And when T heard the 55 number, the first thing on T's mind was investing the lump sum of EPF into exciting financial products, getting much better returns than the current one.

Well that's how people with millionaire mind think - not small savings, or which house or car to buy, but investments generating healthy returns.

Really exciting and interesting to know how people with millionaire mind think.

Thanks to the FitLine business, I have been meeting really interesting people!

FitLine and dumbbells

For the past 2 years, whenever possible, whenever I walk, I will use 2x500ml water bottles as weights (cos I was too 'kiam siap' ie stingy to invest in dumbbells)

Things went fine until recently when I engaged a personal trainer. Want to tone up my arms and abdomen so that I look GREAT in sleeveless.

He suggested that I get dumbbells. Ok. Finally bought them, and finally using them for walks. Everyone was staring at me cos the dumbbells were PINK. haha.

What an attraction huh?

FitLine, not FatLine

Last weekend, I made a trip back to my hometown by coach. The trip back was to offer prayers to my late paternal grandma in conjunction with cheng meng (Chinese ritual of All Souls Day)

Sometimes, it's in confined public places that one cant help but to hear the conversation of others (I dont call this eves dropping. The conversation was so LOUD)

Anyway, these 2 Malay ladies came up the bus. They were really fat. Looking for their seat. Found their seat (Twin seats). And this is how the conversation in Malay went.

Lady A: Alamak, sempitnya (Gosh, it's so narrow)
Lady B: Eh tak muat la (Eh, I cant fit in)

As a result, Lady B, who was sitting along the aisle, had almost half of her butt jutting out of the seat.

One of the biggest disadvantage of being plus size. Each time I take the coach or flight, I pray that my neighbour is slim :)

Thank Godness I have shed my 18kg and can travel in comfort. Thanks to FitLine :)

To Do or Not To Do?

Sometimes I do rush for my FitLine appointments. Like this morning. I timed myself just well. Go to the bank and off to my appointment.

Since it was just a quickie at the bank, I parked along the yellow line, although I saw the local council car there (ready to issue summons). I made sure I made a dash to the bank.

Lo and behold, I saw this blind man. (Started thinking - to help him or not. I am rushing for time. and the local council is there. And next thing I knew, my hand just reached for him and I guided him to his destination. And during that time I was just thinking and praying that the local town council DOESNT SEE my car. Although it's very outstanding with FitLine all over!)

And good news! When I got back to my car, no summon. Yippie! Guess divine intervention? And I made it on time to my appointment :)

What is your USP?

I recently joined a networking organisation that is referral based. Since FitLine business is most of the time word of mouth, I figured this organisation will be a good platform.

Imagine to my surprise that a majority of the members, have excellent products to reach out to the market, but the members dont know how to best present their products.

Most common fumbles:
- lacking in enthusiasm when sharing
- not emphasizing on the USP
- too pushy

Thus, everyone was surprised that I'm new to the organization and yet I am able to convey my USP well. To those members who are open to feedback, I share with them some suggestions on their USPs. And I realise that I can get quite good at copy writing. haha.

To them, I mention that I have paid my 'tuition fee' for learning that and still there is always room for improvement.

Create Your Dream

I was very impressed with this decoration

Was at the mall a few days ago.

Occasionally, when the concourse is vacant, it looks really bland. However, this time round, it was very nicely decorated to promote an upcoming movie, Alice in Wonderland.

Which made me think. Isnt it the same as life? It is up to us to achieve our dreams, to make it end or move or live the way we want?

We are always surrounded by people who moan about the mediocrity in life. But when we share about how to improve, we are given the 'nah, that's not for me' or 'nah, that's too much work'

Same like the FitLine business. Yes, it's a lot of work. But I believe sincerely and wholeheartedly that all the sowing will eventually reap rewards BIG TIME.

Only The Present

I just realised that end of this month will be the first quarter of 2010.

Wow. Time just flew by. Meeting new prospects, making new friends, mentoring the current team partners, keeping in touch with friends, and making time for myself.

Definitely looking forward to everyday, knowing that FitLine supplements will be able to touch someone else's life. Of course, there will always be NOs, but the NOs will eventually lead to YESes.

And in the mean time, to remember to say my gratitude to everyone and everything around me :)

Going the Extra Mile

I attended a gathering of like minded people, who are positive and are into self development. They have a speaker every month to share about their life journey and how they are reaching out to help others.

The recent speaker is to me, a true and true teacher. When she spoke, you could feel her enthusiasm to reach out with a sincere heart with no intention of monetary gain. Since her topic was 'Going the Extra Mile', she shared testimonies after testimonies of her colleagues and herself of the joy of doing so.

After her sharing, I was thinking of how much have I gone the extra mile in my business and service of FitLine. I shared with the group of how much I did go the extra mile and many a times I was frustrated that I wasnt appreciated.

Then, the group feedback to me that 'Going the Extra Mile' means doing it without expecting any form of appreciation. It was based on the concept of joy of giving. Wow. Now, I need to internalize that.

The night ended with a quote 'Let's work towards the Extra Mile. It is NEVER crowded at the Extra Mile'. how true...

I dont believe in food supplements

A few days ago, I prospected this lady, P. A very enthusiastic and petite lady doing insurance.

I like her passion and drive. However, when it came to the topic of supplements, could see that her whole physiology changed. (wow. Sensitive topic)

Obviously she enjoys talking about everything but supplements. When she took the FitLine Activize, she had slight stomach discomfort, a sign of bad bacteria in stomach. Also, her face had fresh acnes (although she's in her mid 30s)

Guess her time for health has not arrived. Hopefully when her time has arrived, I will be able to help her.

Have You Achieved Million Dollar Sales?

Recently, I went to deliver products to a member who is a high net worth individual (HNWI). Somehow, people who are in that category, HNWI are just DIFFERENT. They talk differently, they have lots of energy and very enthusiastic and passionate about life. Maybe that's why they are where they are.

When I went to his office, his sports car, the latest in the market was parked there (I know that it's his)

We talked for awhile and he asked me "Have you achieved Million Dollar Sales?" (you are talking about his SINGLE sales transaction which is multi million dollars)

Honestly, that got me stumped for awhile and made me think for the night. Why is it that some people are able to make multi million dollars in a single transaction and some people are just not able to reach there? No burning desire?

I think Oprah Winfrey gave very good advice - Only surround yourself with people who can bring you higher.

And I think FitLine or MLM is a very good self development platform - only if you are open to it.

Another Chapter of Life Unfolds

A quick picture before the majority of the guests arrive

Recently my friend of more than 15 years got married. This friend of mine, who is based overseas, came back for CNY and of course to hold the wedding dinner.

It's always lovely to attend weddings - love is in the air, the union of 2 individuals and of course, another chapter of life unfolds.

And of course, there is always opportunity to share about FitLine business and products. At the dinner table, while waiting for events to unfold, you start talking to other guests :)

Holiday Season

View of Lake Toba

December to February every year is a holidays season. Christmas, New Year and Chinese New Year! It's all about food, family and friends.

For CNY, my family and I went off to Indonesia. Such a near neighbouring country and I havent been there. Scenery at the Lake is beautiful. But the heat and the journey there...that's another story. The roads are full of potholes and their highway is like our trunk road 20 years ago! Gosh, that makes me feel so blessed to be in Malaysia.

Thank goodness for FitLine, can help to keep health in check!

The Way Forward

The past week has been SUPER hectic for me. But I am loving every moment of it. Why? Cos I know the pot of the FitLine gold is just around the corner. Just one more step, just one more feet.

I am definitely looking forward to Chinese New Year, spending time with family and friends and most importantly, recharging.

Happy Chinese New Year everyone! Gong Xi Fa Chai!

Steadfast Marketing Plan

Over the weekend, a friend shared that she met up with her old friends. Her old friends were with MLM A. The old friends quit their full time job a few years ago to pursue a career with MLM A. MLM A is well known in the market. Their products are non-consumable and their marketing plan is binary.

Thus, when the old friends told my friend that they left MLM A, my friend was shocked (since at one point there were so focused)

I shared with my friend that when choosing a MLM company, it's important that the marketing plan is steadfast and also consumable products. Yes, most steadfast plans will give you trickles of water in the first few months (this is where it will test the heart and faith of an MLMer). But the trickles of water will eventually burst with overflowing gushing water given consistent effort.

I have read, heard this testimony, over and over again from many MLM leaders. Put in at least 5 years of consistent effort and reap the rewards later on. Success is definitely sweet :)

Being successful in MLM

A friend, GS and I were sharing about traits of a good MLMer. This topic came about when I heard about the success story of an MLMer, who made her million in just four years.

Of course it's possible to be a millionaire in four years. But sadly, when asked about the ingredients of the products, its safety, one may be given the blank look.

That was when my friend and I shared that how could one possibly share about the greatness of the product when one doesnt know the ingredients in it?

Thus, I think it's important to know that the ingredients of the products are safe, pure and of course, the company is sound and stable, ie not a fly by night company.

Good Manufacturing Practice is a guideline to ensure that the finished product is in its purest form thus free from pesticides and chemicals. FitLine's range of product has GMP endorsement

Organ pledge

I first came across the idea of pledging organs many years back. At that time, wanted to do it, but didnt know where to get the form.

Last year, met Hoong Ling, an organ donor activist. She donated part of her liver to a 13 year old girl. A few months later, I pledged my organs, after being inspired by her.

I have pledged mine. Have you? The green ribbon symbolizes organ donation.

My weight loss journey

Since I lost 18kg over a period of 9 months 2 years ago, I have gotten used to the fact that I have a slim figure now. I 'forgot' that it was an achievement!

Until recently, when I attended a seminar and we were supposed to train/share about our specialty. I figured that I should talk about it.

Thus, I showed my 'before and after' pictures and everyone was so amazed. Responses ranged from

- 'Get out of here'
- You got to be kidding me
- Is this you???
- Oh my God

All these responses reminded me that it was a GREAT achievement and I realised that there are still many people out there whom I havent reached. Lots of people need help to lose weight the right and safe way and also to SUSTAIN the weight loss. And there are way too MANY products in the market where poor quality ingredients are used.

I guess I'm in the best position to reach out since I was there before and I have done it successfully :)

Weight loss

Recently, I have been sharing about our new FitLine XXS weight loss product and program. The first question people ask is - need to exercise?

My answer is - the long term solution to sustainable weight loss is exercise. If exercise is not incorporated, the weight loss will be a yo yo effect and not only that, you dont look good and feel tired.

Four years ago, exercise wasnt in my vocabulary. One fine day, I decided that I shall do justice to myself, (since I am taking FitLine), to just take walks in the park (I am not a fan of gym. Prefer open spaces)

Ever since then, I got hooked to walking/hiking. Made a few good friends along the way, and that made exercise more pleasurable and enjoyable.

So, that's my secret to my sustainable weight loss for the past 2 years - FitLine+exercise+healthy diet. Simple :) One of the many trekking places

You need FitLine!

We had our FitLine training last weekend. We hold trainings, as a platform for business builders to re-charge and re-fresh and help them to grow the business.

In MLM, testimonials are an integral part of the business. Everyone loves to hear stories. I always look forward to hearing testimonials from new Team Partners. There is always something new and exciting to hear from a fresh face.

We had this testimony, from a new Team Partner, who just joined the business less than 8 months ago. And he is flying high. So we asked him the secret of his success. His answer. He tells his prospects - "You look like shit. You need FitLine". Wow. Is this point blank or what???

When I heard that, I thought, maybe people need reverse psychology to feel the urgent need to start to look good and thus consume FitLine!

Legacy

I attended a talk by a former government official and he encouraged us all to write a book - so that our future generation knows what actually happened and how we lived our lives.

Interesting I thought. I have just re-read a book, written by an MLM leader from another MLM company. Simple but interesting. He just laid down the bare facts. Nothing fancy.

And I thought that I can do the same, to share my journey in FitLine.

Will get a book out in the next few years.

Healthy Ad

Took the train a few days ago. Thought that the advertisement inside it was interesting - something healthy for a change.

I remembered a few months ago, I took a train. It was nearing dinner time. And the whole train was bombarded with BIG, JUICY BIG Mac advertisements. How not to succumb to temptation? My mouth was watering when I saw it.

I like the ad below. Another thumbs up for the government. Perhaps the Ministry of Health should hire the top advertising agencies to make the ad more appealing?

Advertisements like this promote healthy living and indirectly FitLine!

Civic consciousness?

I once read a book that says people will always strive to do the right given the circumstances at that time.

ie people will always be honest, civic minded given a choice.

but what about the picture below. the signboard states 'Di Larang Membuang Sampah' (No Littering) and yet blatantly rubbish were strewn at the bottom of the board.

how do you explain this then?

this post has nothing to do with FitLine. it's just one of the daily things that i ask myself why do people behave the way they do.

Speed Kills

I just recently realised that many drivers SPEED on the road, and I'm talking about federal road here, not highway. And when I mention speed, am talking about above 120km/h.

Where's the rush? Where's the fire?

Perhaps it's cause just before Christmas, I witnessed 2 accidents - one due to daydreaming, the other, I saw a car flipped in the air just before my eyes.

Speed not only kills on road, but in business too.

It's common that in MLM, many people do recruitment by saying, earn 5 figure income in 3/6 months. Yes, I believe it's possible to earn that $ in such a short time. But is it sustainable? Is it 5 figure EVERY month, for 12 months? 99% NO. 1% maybe cos the MLM leader brought his/her network to another network and they found a good product and company.

Like what some gurus say, short term pain for long term gain.

Intention+Action+Faith=Results

A few days ago, was at the shopping mall to purchase a gift for a friend. Since we purchased above a certain amount, we were entitled to a draw to obtain vouchers of either RM10 or RM20.

I thought that this was exciting. Applying my Law of Intention to work. Of course, I wanted the RM20 voucher.

Thus, before the draw started, I set the intention that I wanted the RM20 and I focused on the RM20 prize. Haha. Got it.

My friend, N who was with me, said I was lucky.

Yes, luck plays a role. Intention too, sets the path.

I have set my intention for FitLine this year. And coupled with action and faith, I shall see results :)

I'm a money magnet. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

The year 2009 ended well and 2010 started off really well too.

On new year's eve, I was in a shopping mall. While in Q to pay for my purchases, I spotted money on the floor. So, take la! (At that moment, I said my gratitude prayers. :) I took that as a good sign that the universe is channelling me more money.

Then today, I received 2 good news. More money coming in. Cant reveal sources, but it's all legitimate. Haha. So exciting and thrilling to have multiple sources of income. Will be more exciting if add two zeros (00s) to the amount of the 2 sources of money coming in. Hahaha.

Being in the FitLine business really changed my concept and philosophy of money.

SMILE!

I realised that many things happen while you wait for the lights to turn green. Some people sms, check on make up, change CD/radio station, drink water, etc.

I was taking a sip from my water bottle when I realised that a pair of eyes were looking in my direction.

True enough when I looked around, I saw a driver next to me looking at my car and from his facial expression, he was trying to figure out what is 'FitLine'. And he looked so serious!

When I figured out what he was doing, I smiled at him and he too broke a smile.

We were both doing sign languages. He was asking what is FitLine and I was trying to tell him what it is. It was so hilarious!

Anyway, the light turned green soon after and we parted our ways.

That's the power of mobile marketing - people do notice black FitLine cars

Must watch movie, AVATAR

It has been a LONG time that when I walked out of the cinema, I had a smile to my face. Most movies have been B grade. Very shallow.

But to me, AVATAR has everything. The special effects, good story lines, and most importantly, it makes you think - about life and laws of nature. Everything is energy.

No wonder, my friend GY doesnt mind watching it twice. The last time I watched a movie twice was Will Smith's 'Pursuit of Happiness' which was about 2 years ago.

Perhaps I will consider watching the 3D version ? Should be pretty exciting and a totally different experience.
