Today I had a very interesting conversation with someone, W. We were commenting on how our mutual friend, H, is very busy. H is a super achiever, minggles mostly with the elite circle of the society but however, still finds it ok to mix with the ordinary masses.
W is the typical person, who lives from pay check to pay check, cos believes in enjoying life. W travels for leisure almost every month around the world. And yet, when H shares of the next multi million dollar project, W is green with envy, passing off sarcastic remarks.
Hmm....it made me wonder. Why lead small lives when you can lead big lives? All of us are here to fulfill our vocation. Thus, we are to live up to our potential and leave a mark here on Earth. Why the need to tear down all buildings in town, just to make your own building stand out?
Conversations like this makes you know who you should surround yourself with...
Like what Oprah Winfrey says "Surround yourself only with people who can bring you higher". My version will be "Only Quality People (OQP)" How true...
