I managed to watch the rerun of Oprah Winfrey's featuring 16 year old singing sensation, Charise Pempengco from the Philippines.

Charise discovered she had a talent for singing at the tender age of 4. Ever since then, she entered every singing competition and has won each and every contest. The contest was a way of helping her mom to bring food to the table. Charise and her mom had to leave their violent father and started life anew.

Armed with nothing but a dream and faith in God, she kept her faith that ONE day, she will sing with her idol, Celine Dion. She kept drawing, visualing herself, on the stage, singing with Celine Dion.

And the day, did arrive, 12 years later. Someone discovered her on youtube, and mentioned it to Oprah. And everything else is history. Oprah has the ability to help anyone's dream come true. And she did.

What did I learnt from this 16 year old diva? You have just got to protect your dream. It's your dream, and only you, can make sure it's kept alive. And coupled with strong faith, the right people will just enter into your life and help to make your dream come true.

So, believe that your dream will come true. Because, dreams do come true.
