I Believe

By chance, I stumbled onto Fantasia Barrino's award winning song, 'I Believe' a few days ago on youtube.

She was the American Idol winner in year 2004. I remembered I was rooting for her then, and even took leave to watch her life during the finale! (yup, I was seriously rooting for her and knew she will win)

Why was I rooting for her? Not because the song or should I say the lyrics meant anything to me at that time. It was her passion, and energy when she sang the song. So pure and so alive. It was just so beautiful.

Now, looking at the lyrics, they hold dear to my heart. This is the excerpt of the lyrics which I think is very powerful and meaning:

This song now, holds special meaning to me as I will be at the summit of Mount K on April 15, after months of training. I will also remember this song, when I achieve Champion's League*.
Definitely, I believe.
