As mentioned in my earlier post, we had our FitLine Malaysian event of the year, PM Extra, over the weekend.
I was given the honour to have a few minutes of airtime to share about my success story in achieving the rank of International Marketing Manager (IMM). It was my first time speaking in front of all the FitLine leaders throughout Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Bangladesh and not forgetting Germany.
Since my downlines were also present, I made sure I prepared the speech. Of course I was all jittery before the speech. But surprisingly, during the speech I was ok. And yes, preparation does help tremendously in such events!
The next day, Mr. Carsten held additional training for serious builders like us (Mr Carsten remembers me for my almost 20kg weight loss testimony! Good for me and FitLine!). I also had the opportunity to share a few moments with leaders from Penang. The Penang leaders affirmed that I am on my way to success, with my attitude and actions.
Wow. It felt great! Success, YES!

Champion League
Over the weekend, we had the priviledge to hear from our No. 1 Team Partner in the world, Carsten Ledule, Champion League in PM International AG, from Germany to share about his success story in FitLine.
Carsten is earning six figure euros every month, for the past few years. (converted to RM, that's RM1million a month!)
The best part of the story is, all the actions to success are so duplicable and easily achieved. In fact, he guarantees that you will achieve it, provided you follow exactly what he says! wow!
The gist of his success story - work hard for three years, and you can retire in comfort for the next 30 years (3:30)

I Believe
I dont sing well but I was looking forward to singing 'I Believe' by Fantasia Barino (lyrics by Tata Young) at our recent karaoke session.
To my dismay, the karaoke centre didnt have this song. Had to make do with ABBA songs...
This song is so timely since today is our PM Extra Malaysia. The event of the year. Where achievers are recognised, where teampartners all over Malaysia, and Asia gather together under one roof of the FitLine family.
Today is also today that our CEO will announce his incentive plans. wow. truly looking forward to it!

What are your plans?
Met up with an acquaintance a few days ago, having not met for almost a year.
She is very accomplished in her career, very dedicated and passionate about it. Now, she's semi retired.
Since we hadnt seen each other for quite sometime, she was busy updating me on her work and family. I enjoyed listening to her stories, no doubt.
Then, came the bummer. She asked, "So, what are your plans for your future?"
Why do everyone thinks that MLMer has no future? That we are just drifiting day by day? No inklings on what we want???
I told her proudly and matter-of-fact: I would like to retire young and financially free and travel the world. (Of course, doing a charitable, long term and sustainable project is part of the plan) And I shared with her what a typical day for me is like.
She kept quiet. And changed topic.
I guess I should give her a benefit of doubt. Many people are ignorant on how MLM works. How networks, when built large and extensive pays handsomely.

Children of Heaven
Managed to watch this foreign film, "Children of Heaven" during the weekend. A must watch to all and a recommended family movie.
Set in Tehran, this movie depicts what a good movie should be. Humour, family values, integrity, determination and most importantly good casts.
It also depicts what life is all about - to smell the roses along our journey, and each cloud has a silver lining.
Doing the FitLine business also involves all the values described above. Most important value, is never give up.

Not recognizable
I made appointment to meet a prospect yesterday at one of the coffee outlets.
We havent seen other since late last year, and honestly I cant remember what he looked like (we were introduced to one another by a mutual acquaintance)! As usual, I will arrive about 10 minutes earlier, get my drink, settle down and wait for him to arrive.
As I was waiting for my order, this guy arrived. I had a hunch it was him, but too embarrassed to ask, 'Do you so happen to be Mr X?' (same thing happened to me a few weeks ago in Singapore. supposed to meet someone else's prospect. hadnt seen the prospect before. I asked that question, and I was given the look, like I'm from planet Mars)
He was sweet. As he walked to the counter to order his drink, we smiled at one another. He helped me to get my serviettes and drink.
At the appointed time that we were supposed to meet, I texted him. When he got the text, he exclaimed so loud that the whole cafe could hear "Oh, Cindy, it's you!"
We had a good chuckle that we couldnt recognise each other! Had a good conversation, and before we parted, I passed him my FitLine namecard that has my picture on it.

Smile and the world smiles back at you
A few days ago, was one of the days where you have appointments back to back.
I was running all over the place, and was looking forward to an appointment with my prospect who postponed it before. And yes, I was a little tired, as I also have meeting at night.
Thus, was trying to be as energetic as I could.
As I arrived at the venue (which was at a shopping complex), all sweaty (it was a very HOT day), I passed this indian man. He gave me such a bright, sincere and cheerful smile. I was bowled over. WOW.
How nice if everyone is like him.
That made my day :)

Back to Exercise
I am so used to exercising daily that when I go for a few days without it, I think I have withdrawal symptom.
I hadnt been able to exercise 'properly' for the past 6 days. To me, 20 minutes of cycling (on sunday) or tonnes of walking (that's what happens in Singapore. you walk everywhere - to the MRT stop, to the taxi stand, etc) is not considered exercise.
Exercise to me is really sweating your shirt through.
So, for the past few days, I have been feeling very restless. Yes, I have been busy with business, but it just didnt feel right that I didnt exercise. Something was missing.
Alas, managed to exercise today! Feels good! All the endorphins secreted made me 'high'. And with the flu/fever virus in town, need to ensure that immune system is in tip top order. That includes lots of fresh fruits and vege, exercise and of FitLine!

Buyer Beware
I had dinner with my parents at a Thai restaurant recently. I like the restaurant at it is situated in a residential area, and it has a very cosy ambience, away from the hustle and bustle of shopping complexes or commercial shops.
Everything went well until the bill came. As usual, I always check the bill, to ensure that I'm paying what I ate (one of the good habits of being a former auditor!) All was ok until the restaurant charged us RM32.50 for rice. RM32.50 for 3 pax??? How could it be?
Upon checking with the waitress, we were given the wrong bill. Instead of 3 pax for rice, the cashier keyed in 13 pax. Hmmm...I am thinking...Was that done on purpose? Had we just paid the bill without checking, we would have paid an extra of RM30+!
But this is just a part of our daily lives. Sometimes, we pay/buy things without checking. And when things are not what it seems to be (cos we assume that certain things are there), we blame the seller, and sometimes it is too late. Too much hassle to get a refund.
However, in FitLine, our 30 days money back guarantee stands firm, ie no questions asked. This is to prove that we are confident of the quality of our products.
As for the Thai restaurant, will give it a rest for the time being...Anyone wants to know the name of the restaurant, just drop me an email :)

Meetings of the like minded
I was away in Singapore for the past few days and I just got back to KL.
I took the opportunity meet up with people whom I befriended at the seminars that I attended recently.
Met up with YH and JT. Both of them are successful in their own careers. JT brought us to a posh restaurant where entrance is only by membership.
It was a very interesting lunch. We shared about our learnings from the seminars. And all of us came to a conclusion that, most successful people are nice in their own ways. (Of course there are always exceptions!) And we could also somehow see, which individuals are going to make it eventually, and which are the ones who will stay where there are due to their attitude.
I went away with a sense of satisfaction and contentment. That I know where I will be, where FitLine will eventually take me.

Be Aware...
I am on constantly on the road, and thus, my bluetooth is always on.
However, yesterday, since I know that from point A to point B is only 5 minutes, I was too lazy to put on my bluetooth (since it was only a short distance)
Call came in and I picked it up while driving (I know - I shouldnt drive and not use handsfree/bluetooth). So being a conscientious driver, I parked by the roadside, (with yellow line) to talk. I saw a traffic police bike there, but since I am in the car, I am thinking it's ok to park there to continue talking on the phone.
Lo and behold, the traffic police officer came, saw me in the car, looked at my road tax and started writing in his summon book. I was thinking to myself, what is happening??? Did he choose not to see me?
I quickly hung up, told the officer that I am temporarily parked to take a call. He nodded and walked away.
I am just thinking what would have happened if I was so intent on my call and didnt notice that police officer?
Isnt that life at times? That we are so intent on doing whatever we are doing that we dont know what is happening around us? Be it opportunities, or warning signs?
Thus, I make a conscious effort to always keep my eyes and ears open, to know what is happening - to the other MLM companies, on how to improve my FitLine business, many business opportunities lying around etc.

Does FitLine have enough Vitamin C for me?
A few days ago, my consumer told me that her doctor suggested that she up her dosage of vitamin c up to 1000mg per day to boost her immune system.
She has been taking All Day Pack for a few months. And each time we meet, she will ask me, whether she is getting enough nutrients for the day (since our dosage in all of our products is very minimal)
And each time, I assure her that YES, it's adequate. Our combined vitamin c in ADP is 90mg. But due to our NTC technology (where absorption is up to 10x higher than other products in the market and this is proven) she is getting enough.
1000mg in tablet format when digested and absorbed in the body will not give 1000mg in our cells. How much will our cells be getting? perhaps 5% or 10% of it? And most vitamin c in the market are synthetic. whereas FitLine's vitamin c is 100% natural...
At the end of the day, trust in me and confidence in FitLine products wins hands down.

Hold your bladder!
After so many days of forgetting that I have a TV at home (had been very busy for the past few days), I finally had a chance to switch it on.
And what was on? The Amazing Race. I used to follow each episode during the earlier days when they started showing. I enjoyed watching the sceneries, local activities in that country and of course, antics of the participants. After watching a few episodes, I somehow could predict, which couples will be in the top 5.
Yesterday's episode was the pre-finale (down to 4 couples). This couple, 2 sisters, who got eliminated, was only a few minutes away from the 3rd couple. And what went wrong? During the last activity, one of the sisters had to eat lots of exotic food. To help her to chow down, she drank a lot of water. So, when they were near the checkpoint of that leg of the race, she HAD to pee. And, due to the toilet break, they were eliminated.
This reminded me of someone's sharing at a seminar. If you cant hold your bladder for an important meeting/presentation, what makes you think you can hold/persist other more important things in life?
Or if you cant hold on, or persist just another bend on the road, what makes you think you will reach your destination? Thus, when I encounter any challenges in FitLine, I always tell myself, it's just ANOTHER bend on the road.

Yes, back to exercise!
I hadnt been able to exercise for the past few days. Reason being, with all the chemicals in my hair (after going to the hair stylist) I cant wash my hair for 2 days.
Thus, I made a conscious effort NOT to exercise (how to stand sweat in the hair...all eekky and smelly???)
And, the 2 days were quite difficult. It felt strange that I didnt exercise. As though part of me didnt complete a certain ritual.
And I finally manage to resume my exercise today! Yippeee! (Note: I am still doing 70 floors even after Mount K. Is this addiction or what?)

Baby hair growing?
I was at the hair stylist a a few days ago. My hair was getting out of order and had to do something about it. Been postponing it for too long, knowing that I will need to spend my whole morning there.
While doing my hair, my stylist mentioned that I have baby hair growing...
Wow. I'm 30+ and have baby hair growing...Thanks to FitLine All Day Pack, particularly FitLine Restorate (contains mainly minerals)!
FitLine ALL DAY PACK (new labelling - due to arrive on Malaysia shores soon)
So, after spending 4 hours plus, a few trips to the toilet and 1/4 'The Google Story' book read, I think it was a morning well spent :)

Has the Fire died?
I was at the DBKL (KL local town council) parking meter earlier today, feeding the meter to get my parking coupon.
Since DBKL revamped their meters, many people didnt know how to use it (a bit slow-la in my opinion, since it's digitized. The only advantage of this meter compared to the old meter with a dial, is, I have parking receipt)
There was this elderly couple, scratching their head, on how to use the meter. Lo and behold, I arrived and became their saviour. Then, I watched them put the coupon on their car's dashboard and left.
Like what all my friends tell me, normally, married couples no longer hold hands like those courting days. I found this eldery couple so cute. The wife was walking way ahead, and the husband took his own sweet time.
Hmmm...where is the fire?
Like a relationship, we must always keep the passion alive to make the future promising. Yes, there are many challenges in MLM, in FitLine. But I believe, passion is the answer.

Great week ahead!
During the long break last week, I was reviewing my daily activities for the past 2 months to get my average.
From here, I have decided on my personal KPI (Key Performance Indicator) to achieve my next target in August.
This week, I will exceed my KPI and thus, very excited about it.
Isnt it exciting that you know that your goal is within your grasp and there is nothing holding you back??? YES!

R&R Day
Pool view
After shower, feeling fresh and HUNGRY!
The past 2 days have been super hectic. Thus, decided that I should pamper myself.
The past 2 days have been super hectic. Thus, decided that I should pamper myself.
A friend has a condo unit which includes pool, jacuzzi and sauna facility (among others). Since I have been invited many times and I declined, I thought I should self-invite myself this time!
So, after the usual Gasing Hill trek, I went for 'pampering' time. All 3 activities were relaxing. No need to hurry off to let others use it. The place was empty, thus we had the whole place to ourselves.
I hadnt swum in ages as the pool in my place has too much chlorine. It lingers on my skin and hair for days even after showering and shampoo-ing. Since this place doesnt smell of heavy chlorine, I took the opportunity to swim a few laps.
While waiting for my friend to finish shower, I was envisioning myself, a few years from now, where this will be my lifestyle. Of the occasional sauna, swim and jacuzzi...And it feels so sweet.
